Lando had come home a little late, around eight in the evening, but that didn't stop Natalya and Lando from having dinner together in the kitchen of Lando's apartment. The staff had prepared a pasta dish, including bruschetta as an apéritif and tiramisu for desert. Natalya hadn't bothered to get dressed, she was wearing a pair of loose joggers and a top tucked into it, her bra had been off ever since she showered this morning, and she felt relaxed. This had to be the most normal night in they had so far as a couple. Lando was currently taking a shower, and Natalya was seated at the kitchen table, waiting for him. It didn't take long for him to return, and she was looking forward to hearing about his day, because her own had been pretty boring. Pierre offered to take her for a ride around London, but considering all the protection and guarding they needed, Natalya thought it would be best to stay inside. She had been rewatching some series on the TV, enjoying her time alone, but eventually she was just bored.
Lando came into the dining room. He was wearing a pair of sweats as well, a hoodie dressing his upper body. She loved seeing him in just normal, every day, leisure wear clothing. Lando always looked amazing in the suits he wore, which were tight in all the right places, and definitely showed off his amazing physique, but the hoodie looked warm, cozy, and she felt eager to push her fingers into the soft material. "Hello, love," Lando greeted her again, his arm snaking around her waist as she stood on her tippy-toes while curling her arms around his neck. "Hi," Natalya breathed into his sweater, the scent of his delicious cologne lingering on the cotton. "I missed you," Lando said, causing her heart to skip a beat. She had become an absolute simp for this man, but who could blame her. "I was so bored," Natalya sighed, pulling back with a gentle pout on her lips. "Were you?" he cooed, making her roll her eyes at him, nevertheless her lips curled slightly upwards.
His thumb moved over her lips, undoing the pout on her face, while he leaned forward to kiss her lips. Natalya gladly let him kiss her, the softness of the peck he pressed to her mouth warming her up completely. "What are we having for dinner?" Lando asked, slowly letting go of her while moving to sit on the opposite side of her. "Italian," she replied, drumming her nails on the table for a couple seconds. The kitchen staff came in with the apéritif, two glasses of wine poured in for them. The dinner was far too fancy for the way they were dressed, but neither of them were bothered. Lando let his eyes glide over her appearance, loving how she looked so comfortable in his apartment. "What have you been doing?" Lando asked, watching how she brought her glass of wine up to her mouth. "Hmm, definitely not much," Natalya hummed. "I packed a bit of my suitcase after you left, and I had breakfast then. I showered, got dressed in what I'm wearing now, took a nap, watched some Netflix, waited till you came home," she summed up.
Lando chuckled. "I see, that's how you killed about nine hours of time," he said, he could imagine she had been bored. "What about your day?" she asked. "Visited a warehouse of one of my partners today, he lives in Surrey. My mother called me to come over for lunch, but I declined. I don't want to put my family in danger at the moment," Lando explained, and Natalya could notice the flash of hurt that glided over his face. He regretted that he had to lie to his mother, telling her he simply was fully booked today, and couldn't squeeze in a lunch with his family, but he would call her as soon as he had a day off. "I'm sure she understands," Natalya said. "She does, but she sounded said nevertheless," Lando sighed. "When all of this..." Natalya waved with her hand to indicate the current situation he and his crew were in. "Is over, there's enough time," she said, which made him nod. "Would you want to come with me then?" Lando asked, causing her eyes to flicker back to his.
"You'd want me to meet your family?" Natalya asked, just to be sure it's what she thought he meant. "Yeah," he confirmed, half a smile tugging on his lips. "Alright," she said, looking down at her plate again, nibbling on her bottom lip to fight the smile. "I know you think that's cute of me to ask, just admit," Lando teasingly said, and she chuckled. "I've never been with someone longer than a weekend, Lando. It's quite new for me," she admitted. "I know what you mean," Lando said. His life before Natalya existed of short flings, nights with strippers, nothing longer than a couple of days. Ever since he met Natalya, no other woman could spike his interest. And Natalya felt the same. She had met numerous of attractive men at Carlos' club, even some guards here were incredibly handsome, yet none of them made her feel that burning fire like Lando could. The kitchen staff briefly interrupted their conversation when they brought two plates of pasta, and Lando just looked over at Natalya meanwhile.
He couldn't lift his eyes off her. He loved how domestic this felt, how natural, and great it felt that she was waiting for him at home to come back from work. They continued their talk about Lando's day, and he told her some more about his family, which she liked to hear. Especially his sister who was showjumping with her horses, and she regretted to hear that he never dares to turn up at one of her shows, afraid that his job, rivals, or anyone else in his world, would be able to ruin it for her, or that his family could be in danger because of it. Natalya was sure that, if the situation with Carlos was solved, that he would be more relaxed.
They finished a great dinner at home, and Natalya had managed to eat a small bit of tiramisu as well. She was full from the pasta, but the tiramisu looked so incredibly good, that she had to have a piece of it. They had stayed in the kitchen for another hour, just enjoying some wine and their time together, at home, and for once not in a fancy restaurant. But no one else was bothering them, no one was waiting for them outside on the parking lot, with weapons, and Natalya felt safe, and at home. Something she valued a lot. "I thought we could watch a movie or something," Lando started while they gathered the plates, so the kitchen staff could easily take them. "Sure," Natalya said. "But not on the couch," Lando continued, his eyes sparkling a little. "Where'd you wanna watch a movie then?" Natalya asked, one of her eyebrows raising. "The bathtub. Haven't you noticed that there's a TV closet in the master bathroom?" Lando asked, and she shook her head.
"But I guess I'm about to," she purred, making him nod. The two of them went upstairs, and Lando opened the door to the bathroom. He opened the tap, and let the warm water fill the tub already. Meanwhile, he reached into a cabinet and got the remote, clicking on it. The cabinet across the tub opened, and a TV appeared. "Are you serious?" Natalya asked, shaking her head. "How many times have you watched something here?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest. "Like, twice?" Lando chuckled, one of his hands moving to the back of his neck. "I see," Natalya replied. "Why don't you get in already, I'll quickly get some champagne from downstairs," Lando suggested, turning the TV on and selecting the Netflix application, leaving the remote in the cabinet for her to grab. "Alright," she replied, smiling up at him as his knuckles briefly grazed her cheek. Natalya got out of her sweats, and she moved her thong down her legs before pulling her top over her head. She hung her clothes on the small rack, making sure they wouldn't be close to the water.
She put her hair up in a higher bun, to prevent her hair from getting wet. She felt the water with her toes as she moved to sit on the edge of the tub, and it was lukewarm already. She lowered herself into the water, spotting the unused bath bombs that were still in its plastic package, in a small box on the side. Natalya took one of them out, letting the lavender smell fill the room as soon as she dropped it in the water. Lando returned not much later, carrying two glasses and a bottle of champagne. "Have you selected something already?" he asked, but she shook her head. "Just get out of your clothes and join me already," Natalya said, causing him to shoot her a lazy grin. "Yes, ma'am," he replied, making her roll her eyes, nevertheless smile. She looked over at him as he pushed his sweats down his legs and swung his hoodie over his head. Natalya reminded herself to pick it to wear it to bed before he would leave it in the washer. Lando got into the tub behind her, his arm curling around her waist to pull her close.
Natalya got the remote again, and they scrolled through Netflix together to pick a movie they could watch. They went for a romantic comedy, although Lando didn't really mind what they would watch. She dropped her head on his chest, leaning back against him as the movie started. "Hey," Lando poked her side softly, which made her squeal and giggle next. "I love you," he said, and it made her turn around to face him. Natalya still had to get used to him telling her that, but she already grew addicted to the sound of them, to the look in his eyes when he told her those three little words. "I love you too," she replied, her hands on his neck, and her thumbs swiping over his jaw as she leaned in to kiss him. His hands curled tighter around her waist, wanting to hold her like this forever. He leaned further forward, her legs tangling around his waist, their bodies pressed closer together. The movie was barely started, but long forgotten already, but they didn't care, their love for each other was the most important.
