"My love..." Natalya hummed softly at the sound of his voice in her ear. She didn't want to open her eyes yet, clinging onto that sleepy feeling. Lando's fingertips caressed her cheekbone, gliding over her pretty features before they moved down to her neck, adjusting the pendant with his initial on her necklace. Lando waited patiently, knowing she was about to open her eyes. And she did. Her crystal hues gazed up at him, squeezing shut briefly when she stretched her limbs above her head with a yawn. "Happy birthday, darling," Lando whispered, kissing her cheek and peppering kisses on her face till she started to giggle, her arms thrown around his neck to pull him further down to her. They kissed briefly, and Lando sat up again. He wasn't dressed fully yet, but wearing one of her favorite sweats that always looked so good on him. A cap was covering his messy curls. She sat up as well, the half buttoned shirt of his she was wearing falling aside and revealing her delicate skin, the love bites he had bitten into the swell of her cleavage last night slightly visible.
"Oh," she breathed when she looked around the apartment they rented in New York properly for the first time. Pink and lilac balloons were spread through the bedroom, wishing her a happy birthday. It was early in the morning, and the sun was rising above the horizon. The penthouse that was situated in the top of the skyscraper captured the view of it effortlessly, and the sight was truly beautiful. The most gorgeous bouquet of flowers rested near her feet, and while she wasn't the type of woman who necessarily liked flowers, her heart skipped a beat at the colors of the pretty flowers all together. The bouquet was seriously heavy to lift, but she took it in her hands and hovered her nose over it to capture the sweet scent. "Do you like it?" Lando asked, and she looked up at him with a smile. "Absolutely, thank you," Natalya replied, leaning up to peck his lips, which made him smile at her too. She got out of bed, placing the flowers in a vase on the table. Lando sat on the edge of the bed, and his arms automatically opened when she walked up to him and took a seat on his thighs.
"I love you," she said, her hands cupping his cheeks. "I will never get tired of hearing you tell me that, babe," Lando muttered, his hands placing over hers sweetly. "I love you more." His nose brushed against hers before they kissed again. "I've gotten you a present," he said, breaking the kiss, capturing her hands again before they could tease the waistband of his sweats, causing him to grin and chuckle at his girlfriend. He lifted her up with ease, putting her back on her feet, before he reached for the two bags. She scoffed when she spotted the Hermès logo on the side of the bags, causing another grin to break onto his face. He must have seen her ogling the bags behind the glass of the Hermès shop they walked by last night. "You're spoiling me," she purred, taking the bags with a satisfied smile. "My favorite hobby," Lando chuckled, his fingers gathering her messy hair that twirled down her shoulders while she stood in front of him and opened up the bags. She placed the boxes on the end of the bed, untying the ribbons and opening the boxes to reveal the stunning bags. She loved the bright blue one and the Bordeaux red one, and she hadn't been able to make up her mind about which one she liked the most. So, he got her both.
Lando's hands moved to her waist, and he looked over her shoulder when she lifted the blue bag up, admiring its color and the stunning birkin bag in general. "I can't wait to pair this with an outfit for dinner tonight," she sighed, moving her fingers over the leather texture of the bag. "Thank you, baby," Natalya turned her head, her hand reaching for his cheek. Lando smiled, happy to see her happy. She turned around in his embrace after placing the bag carefully into the box again. Her arms curled around his neck, and he smiled as his fingers cupped her chin. "My birthday girl," he sighed. "And in a couple of weeks it's our two-year anniversary already," he added. "Oh, really?" Natalya hummed, her fingers tracing his collarbones. "I was thinking of Milan or Rome," Lando said, amused when she threw her head back with laughter. "We just landed in New York two days ago, and you're already planning our next trip?" she giggled. "You know I'm eager to travel to all the beautiful places in the world with you, my love," Lando grinned, his hands moving to curl around her waist again, pulling her closer into his chest.
"But today is your day," Lando said, and he leaned down to kiss her lips. Her eyes briefly flickered to the N that was tattooed under his collarbone, her heart fluttering gently when she looked back up at his face. "Тебя люблю" [I love you] she spoke in Russian, making him smile. He lifted her up and twirled her around, laughing when he dropped her on the soft mattress, and he moved to hover over her. Her hair was fanned out over the pillow, and in the golden light of the morning sun, her eyes looked so bright, her skin so delicate. The woman of his dreams, and the woman of his life, forevermore.
A/N: this was really it, the epilogue and thus the very last chapter of Six Inch. Again, thanks to everyone who dedicated time to read this book. It was a pleasure to write for and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. This will definitely not be my last mafia book, and definitely not my last book with Lando, so, see you next time! ❤️
