Natalya looked up at the golden letters of the restaurant that were carved into the building above the heavy doors. She had an appointment with Mr. Sainz this morning and he wanted her to come to El Club Allard, where he was all morning anyway a business appointment with a partner. Natalya came in and the restaurant was empty except for the table Mr. Sainz was seated at. The waiter nodded at her, apparently notified about her presence this morning too. Carlos saw his dancer approaching him and he put the newspaper he was reading down on the table. "Natalya, sit down, please". He requested her and one of the guards pulled the other chair at the table back. Natalaya sat down silently. "Your weekend in London". Carlos started, his fingers snapped next and his guards moved out of the area and the waitress hurried to get out as well after she put down a jug of iced water on the table. "My weekend in London". Natalya repeated with a gentle grin on her lips. "It was nice". She hummed, looking down at her nails, stretching out her fingers.
Carlos scoffed, making her eyes direct back to his. "He's in Moscow". She spilled, something he was waiting for. He sat a little more up. "Moscow? I see. Anything else?". He asked. Natalya leaned back in her chair, crossing her leg over the other while she drummed her nails on the armrests of the chair. "I caught something about one of his partners being murdered. They didn't seem too bothered about it. I have seen three of his partners last weekend. Leclerc, Albon, Fewtrell". She summed up. "They were talking about another man named Petrov and Markelov and taking a car apart. They didn't say what car or the model or anything, just something about a car". She continued. Carlos squinted his eyes, not at her in particular. "You know a lot. You're not making him suspicious, are you?". He asked and she scoffed. "I'm a gorgeous woman asking for all of his attention because he is giving me presents and sex, he won't get suspicious". Natalya said. Carlos chuckled at her response. "I see how you're playing it". He replied, briefly moving his hand over his face.
"He's getting you everything you want. Don't forget that you should get everything I want too". Carlos said. "I won't forget, everything I get you forms my paycheck". Natalya said, finishing her glass of water. "Are you afraid that I'll betray you?". She cocked her head sideways and Carlos looked at her for a good moment before he shook his head. "No, I'm not". He said eventually. "Then shut up about your doubts and let me do my work". Natalya said, taking her bag and standing up to leave the building. It left Carlos speechless and two of his guards stiffled a laugh, which made him glance over at them to shut them up. Natalya took a deep breath as she walked outside, Gianluca's car parked on the side and he held the door open for her so she could get in. "Mr. Sainz didn't give me any more orders for the rest of the day, Natalya". He spoke as he walked around the car and got in. "I know". Natalya said, nodding meanwhile as she let her bag to the floor of the car. "Do you want me to take you anywhere?". Gianluca asked next, starting the car and driving away.
Gianluca had to be the largest gift she received from Carlos. Her guard was loyal and she swore he was an angel. "No, thank you". She said. "I'm walking to the gym later". She replied. Gianluca looked over at her. "Can I at least stay around to make sure you remain safe?". He took a couple turns to arrive at her apartment block not much later and he halted the car. "Your crush on me is adorable, Gianluca". Natalya said with a gentle smile, leaning over to kiss his cheek and he shook his head, watching as she got out of the car and went into her apartmentbuilding without looking back. Natalya took the stairs up to her level and she rumbled in her bag to take the keys out. Her eyes fell on the bag that hung on the doorhandle, her eyebrows furrowing slightly together as she couldn't remember ordering something online. Natalya searched for the card attatched to the bag, making sure it was meant for her, and that was confirmed when her name was written on there. She took the bag and unlocked her door, getting inside of her apartment and putting her things down, curiousity filling her to see what was in it.
