What If I Jumped? (Kiribaku)

• Chapter Fourteen •

Kirishima's pov

"Where did you get all those?" I asked, they cost way too much for Mina to buy them.

She laughed, "Yao-momo made them for us!"

That makes sense. "Oh okay!"

She handed each of us including herself a ticket, "Let's go then~"

Me and Bakugo didn't know how to get to the funfair, but it seemed that the other three did so we walked behind them.

I felt a nudge on my upper arm, "Oi."

"Yeah?" I looked up to him.

"When we get to the shit fair, do you wanna go of on our own?" He whispered.

I thought for a moment, "Sure, but let's hang around with them for a bit first." I motioned to our friends ahead of us.

"Ugh. Okay."

A smile played on my cheeks. I stared at the sky and at the clouds within it. There were birds in the trees and sunshine everywhere. In short, the day looked beautiful.

For a short moment, I could've sworn that Bakugo was looking at me.

"Did you wanna talk about something?"

He shook his head, no.

"You sure? I thought I saw you staring at me."

Again, he shook his head.

"Guess not."

Mina, Sero and Denki were chatting loudly. About what they were gonna do at the fair, what rides they're gonna go on, things like that. They were oblivious to anything else.

"Hey Baku?"

"Yeah?"

"When we get there, do you wanna go get some candyfloss with me?"

"Tch. Fine."

I jumped a bit in happiness, "And can we go on the rollercoaster and the Ferris wheel?"

".... Fine, but not with the others."

"Why not?"

"They annoy me, and I think it's only two per carriage but I'm not sure."

"Ohh okay. Also, if I buy you something, can you promise that you'll wear it?"

"Depends what you buy me." He smirked.

I blushed, "If it's there, then I was thinking of getting you a cat ears headband. I think it'd look nice on you..."

"Everything looks nice on me." That is true though.

I nodded my head in agreement.

"Hey Kiri?"

"Mhm?"

"You should wear that blue hoodie more often. The big one with the bunny ears, I mean. It looks cute."

I blushed and smiled. "Are you saying the hoodie looks cute, or I look cute when I wear it."

".....Both."

I had to hold myself back from squealing and bouncing around, since Bakugo just technically called me cute. Instead I blushed even harder.

He patted my back and shouted to Mina.

"Hey dipshit!"

She turned her head and shouted back.

"What?"

"How long til we get there?"

"Around twenty more minutes. Don't worry though, we're getting the bus back."
