Bakugo's pov

I was told to go back to my room a short while after I dropped kirishima off at recovery girls'. It made me feel annoyed that I couldn't stay with him for longer, but I agreed for the sake of rest. We both needed it, and now that he's back here, I could rest easily.

When I awoke, Aizawa sensei was standing in the doorway, looking bored as usual. I rubbed my eyes and yawned, stretching my arms.

"Was there something you needed, teach-" I sat up, cross legged.

"How long have you been standing there? What, you got a thing for watching people sleep?" I laughed at my sarcasm, but Aizawa sensei didn't react.

"I'm here to ask a couple questions since kirishima isn't awake just yet. I'm asking everyone with him that night, not just you."

I nodded, "So what are the questions then?"

"First, why did you decide to leave school grounds?" His eyebrows raised a pinch, as if irritated.

"Me and the guys were gonna go to a funfair."

"But you didn't come back until around four in the morning, so explain what all of you really planned on doing."

I huffed, "Fine. We were gonna go to the fair and then sleep at a park we usually go to."

"Do you not see how irresponsible that was. Did you not stop to think that you might get in trouble or that you or one of your classmates could and did end up in danger?" He gave me a death glare, "Well?"

I was quiet for a moment, trying to stop myself from getting angry even though I knew I had no reason to when I was in the wrong.

"Of course I thought about that. But kir-" I cleared my throat, "They all wanted to go so bad, and so did I. I know it doesn't excuse what happened, I'm not going to make an excuse, it's just how it all played out. Everything was fine until we fell asleep at the park, like we told you that night, and then I woke up early in the morning but Kiri wasn't there, I couldn't find him." I stopped to take a breath.

".....Right. Well, whatever the case, it's in the past, but I need to find a suitable punishment for you all. Normally, I'd expell you, but the principal has instructed me not to, so count yourself lucky."

I looked to my hands, fiddling with my fingers. "..... I'm sorry, sir." I mumbled.

"What was that?"

"I said I was sorry." Still looking down, I could tell that he was still pissed off with me. I couldn't blame him.

"Doesn't matter anymore, I'm glad you've apologized to me and acknowledged what you did was wrong, but it means nothing if you're just trying to get out of being punished."

I nodded my head, gloomily, grunting in response.

Aizawa sensei sighed, "I think the best suited thing to do for everyone is extra homework, cleaning everything til it's spotless and no school trips for two weeks."

"Yes, sir." I grumbled.

"I'll allow you to not attend your school lessons today, same as your friends, so that you can visit kirishima. He should be up in a couple hours."

He left my room and shut my door, I pulled my phone out and rolled my eyes. It was only seven am. I got out of bed anyway and walked to the bathroom. I pulled out my toothbrush from its charging device, and started brushing my teeth.

After two minutes passed, I spat out the toothpaste and washed the brush, putting it on the counter. I sorted out my bedhead and then walked to my wardrobe, picking out an outfit for the day. It was just a black joggers with a black tank top to match and grey sneakers.
