Bakugo's pov

I ended up going to a jewelry shop, like I originally planned. Walking in, I could see all sorts of things that would look amazing on Kiri, but one thing stood out the most to me.

It was a pair of silver necklaces with hearts attached that you could engrave things on. I checked the price and was relieved to see they were only 35 dollars for the pair.

I brought them to the cashier and placed them on the counter.

"Could I buy these, please?"

"Yes of course, would you like to put anything on them?"

"As in writing?"

"Yes."

"Uhhh.. yeah, I would."

"Please write on this note what you would like it to say and I can get back to you in an hour." He handed me his note book and pen to me, smiling.

"Thank you."

I took the paper and turned to the first page, starting to write something short but sweet.

Once I was finished, I gave him back the note and he walked off, telling me to sit in the waiting chair.

"Sir?" He called out to me when he was finished.

I stood up and walked to the counter, happily.

The cashier smiled at me as he scanned the item in his hand, "That'll be thirty five dollars, sir."

"Here-" I handed him the exact money and put the necklaces into my pocket.

"Would you like a receipt?"

"No thank you."

I exited the shop and headed back to my room at the dorms, excited to see what Kiri thinks.

It was nine in the morning when I got back. He was still asleep in my bed, with blankets wrapped around him.

I shut he door behind my and sat on the bed, sitting under the duvet lifting his legs up over my lap as he was still laying down.

He looked even more heavenly the longer I looked at him, and as much as I didn't want to, I shook his shoulder lightly.

"Babe, you gotta get up, I have a present~"

He yawned a bit and rubbed his eyes, before sitting up slowly, legs still resting on my lap.

"What's the time?.." His voice sounded so cute.

"It's like nine in the morning."

"Okay~ So what was the gift?" He tilted his head, looking at me.

"Well.." I took the jewelry out from my trouser pocket and handed them to him, "I wanted to get us both something. I hope you like them."

"Which one is mine?"

"This one-" I gave him the one with his name on, "Read what it says."

"Okay~"

He began to read it out loud, making me blush, "Angel, I'll always be here. I love you."
