'Crraaaaack'

A long splinter of a crack spread across the end crystal. He knew that it wouldn't be long until it exploded. He just hoped his friends were far away enough to not be caught in the explosion to come. Sabres breathing was calm despite the situation. In truth, he was going to try and absorb the end crystals energy to the point it won't destroy the whole world. He winced when he heard it crack just a little more, becoming progressively less stable. He knew that there was no way he would be able to absorb even enough energy to stop the crater left behind to be smaller or the same size as the one when Alex blew up. So, he was going to use the energy to do something. However, he would have to leave the steve saga for it to work. The end crystal cracked even more, about to completely shatter. He just smiled awaiting what to come, wishing he didn't have to leave and hoping his friends would be alright without him. There was a final crack as the energy in the end crystal gave way, and everything went white...

Sabre shot up with a gasp, grabbing he onesie as he tried to calm down. When his breathing was normal, he looked around. He was sitting on a soft bed with spruce walls around him. He looked out one of the windows and smiled, seeing a portal of each colour of the rainbow hub. That's right, I'm not in the steve saga anymore. I'm in the rainbow hub. He carefully put his feet on the ground and got up, stretching slightly to ease a soreness in his back, likely from sleeping in an odd position. When he looked outside, he noticed it was still night. Knowing he wouldn't be going back to sleep anytime soon, he walked down the stairs, carefully sneaking past Rainbow steve as to not disturb him, and went outside, softly closing the door behind him. He released a quiet sigh. He had always liked how cool and fresh the air felt at night. Not wanting to bother anyone else at this hour, he quietly walked out of the rainbow hub and into the surrounding forest.

He walked for a while, appreciating the peace and quiet, much in contrast to what has been happening lately. He and Rainbow had saved Blue Steve from the darkness infecting him in the spirit world, met void steve and met the two new steves who appeared after galaxy disappeared. Their names were Time and Elemental Steve. Time seemed like a very patient person, while Elemental on the other hand had quite an energetic personality. He was kinda like a kid in some manner. Soon, sabre could hear the quiet burble of a river, soon walking close enough to see it. He decided to sit at the bank, brushing his hand in the little ripples the water made when going over the rocks. It felt nice. He soon took his hand out, brushed it on the grass and sat there for a bit.

It was a clear night, and looking at the river surface you could easily see your reflection, even if it was a bit distorted. Sabre looked at his reflection, paying most attention to the soft dark fabric that lade over his eyes, concealing them from the world around. People always got confused how he could see with it on, or why he wore it. In reality, it was a special fabric that you could see through one way but couldn't the other. With a sigh, he pulled down the hoodie of his onesie and moved his hands to the back of his head, looking for the knot. When he found it, he slowly untied it, and let the fabric fall of his face, but not to the ground, still holding its sides. He peered at his reflection. I hope the other are still ok on the steve saga... He didn't know what he'd do if they had gotten hurt. He wanted to go back, tell them he was ok, and stay there and never leave again, but he knew he couldn't do that, and that upset him. He looked at his eyes. He knew if the others here saw them, they'd probably be concerned and confused, if not terrified. He suddenly felt very uncomfortable with his eyes on show, anyone who'd walk up to him being able to see them. He hastily put the bandana back around his head and tied the knot tight on the back of his head, so that it had no chance of coming loose and falling off. He glanced back up at the sky, seeing the early rays of the sun rising. Not wanting to worry the others, he started to walk back.
