At this point, the sun began to rise, yet the forest was just as calming as when he had walked in, and he was slightly disappointed when he walked into the rainbow hub, until he got tackled into a hug by a curtain rainbow coloured Steve.

"Where were you!?", Rainbow steve yelled to sabre, but it was muffled into his onesie.

"Sorry Rainbow, I didn't mean to worry you. I just woke up early and decided to go on a walk, that's all", Sabre replied to Rainbow, feeling sorry for making him worried.

"Well tell me next time you do that! You made me think that void, or- or the darkness got you!", Rainbow responded upset, finally letting go of sabre and stepping back.

"Ok. I'm sorry for making you worried", He said truthfully. Rainbow gave him a look and sighed. He grabbed Sabre's hand, leading him back to the house.

"Come on, Time's making breakfast.", Sabre smiled as Rainbow dragged him back. He wasn't the same as the rainbow back in the steve saga, and he would never replace him, but he was still just as important to him as the steve saga Rainbow was.

Breakfast was fast, with a few exchanges of words but nothing too interesting. Once they were done, they sat there for a bit, not knowing what to do when suddenly rainbow got an idea and dragged them all to the river surrounding some of the rainbow hub and gave everyone fishing rods. Both Elemental and Time gave Rainbow an odd look, well, sabre thinks that time steve gave Rainbow an odd look, not being able to tell much with the clock mask he wore. "Um... W-what are these for?..." Elemental asked, never having seen a fishing rod before. Rainbow stared at them blankly for a few seconds before remembering that they were only created a little while ago. "Oh, Sorry! These are fishing rods, you can use them to catch fish! Like this," Rainbow demonstrated how to throw the fishing rod and somehow it only took a few seconds for Rainbow to get a bite, and when reeling it in revealed he had caught a pufferfish. "See? Once you learn how to do it, it's pretty fun!" Rainbow smiled at Time and Elemental, where Time had watched closely, and Elemental gawked at this. "Wha- How!? Show me how you did that!" Elemental insisted, and so Rainbow started teaching them how to fish. Sabre watched and smiled at the whole interaction. Elemental in the steve saga had been misguided, and sacrificed himself to save everyone else from his mistake. Sabre was happy that this Elemental was still alive and happy, but he was surprised about how different he was to Elemental from the steve saga. That elemental had been very polite, and acted very mature, while this Elemental acted a bit like a child. Guess he kinda was a child in a way, having been created not that long ago...

After showing Elemental and Time how to use the fishing rod and reel in the fish a few times, they got the hang of it and were all sitting on the dock fishing. Time and Elemental sat next to each other, and Sabre in the middle of Elemental and Rainbow. They had all been mostly getting cod and the occasional salmon, while Rainbow was getting pufferfish over 70% of the time. "Okay, how come we keep getting cod and stuff, but youkeep getting pufferfish? How does that even work!?" Elemental commented, while Rainbow just smirked and replied "I have my ways..." to which Elemental glared in response. It was quiet for a while after that as everyone focused on fishing until Elemental asked, "Hey, Sabre?" to which Sabre looked up at him and smiled. "Yeah Elemental?", Elemental looked nervously to the side for a few seconds, which seemed odd, but made sense when he looked at Sabre again and asked, "Um, why do you, uh, wear that blindfold? Is there, uh, like, something wrong with your eyes?.." In response, sabre smiled and looked at him for a few too many seconds for elemental to be comfortable, then suddenly laughed a bit while saying, "My eyes are fine Elemental, I just think it looks cool," to which Elemental sighed in relief, having thought the player had gotten mad at him. "Okay, if you say so..." Elemental spoke, and they went back to fishing.

It was only about half an hour after Elemental asked Sabre about his blindfold that the orange portal went off. As soon as it did, Sabre and Rainbow looked at each other and grimaced, knowing what awaited them on the other side. Elemental however was confused, and Time was concerned. Sabre and Rainbow had explained to them how the portals worked, so didn't that mean the orange steves were in trouble? Why weren't sabre and rainbow doing something already? Sabre, almost as if sensing their confusion and concern, turned to them and explained what it normally meant when the orange portal went off. Elemental then started to grimace as well, and Time just said "oh". They soon packed up all the fishing gear and were about to step in the portal. "Do we have to though??? Can't we just, y'know, ignore it??" Elemental complained, in which Sabre and Rainbow replied with a quick nope and walked through, leaving Elemental grumbling while walking through and Time chuckling at Elementals reaction.

Of course, as soon as they stepped foot into the Orange steve village, they started getting bombarded with chores. While Rainbow, Elemental and Time did the chores, Sabre just kinda sat back and every so often said words of encouragement or to joke around with them, as he couldn't break blocks, meaning he wouldn't be able to help too much. Elemental and Time were confused as to why he couldn't break blocks, but they didn't question it, as they thought it might be a bit of a touchy subject for him, (even though he's using it as an excuse to not do chores). Once they were finished and on their way back to the best place to teleport back to the Rainbow hub, Time noticed a bird that was almost completely engulfed in darkness if not for a few white specks around the birds' neck and one larger white splotch on its head, watching them. "Uh, guys, what's that?" Time got the attention of the others and pointed at the bird. Rainbow sighed, "the darkness had begun infecting animals, so far I had only seen a sheep and a chicken infected, but I guess they got to that bird. I wish I could reverse it, but some reason I can't change animals back, so we just have to kill them, which I really wish I didn't have to do," Rainbow replied with a frown, and raised his hand, about to summon lightning to destroy the darkness bird. Sabre, who was behind Rainbow tripped on a rock and knocked into Rainbow just enough so that Rainbow was knocked to the side and missed the bird, striking the air instead. The bird seemed unfazed, but after a second or two spread its' wings and flew away into the distance, disappearing into the woods. Rainbow quickly turned to Sabre and glared at him. "Sabre! You made me miss! Now that thing could infect other animals!" Rainbow said annoyed at Sabre, while Time and Elemental stood back a bit, never having seen Rainbow get mad at someone. "S-sorry Rainbow! I guess I wasn't looked where I was going," Sabre replied, rubbing the back of his neck a little ashamed. Rainbow glared at Sabre for a few more seconds until sighing and looking back at sabre softly, "It's fine.. Just watch where you're going next time, okay? We can't afford the darkness spreading any more than it has,". Sabre put his hand down and smiled, glad Rainbow forgave him. "yeah, I will,". They just smiled at each other and the four of them began walking again and eventually teleported back to the rainbow hub.
