It was night now. Sabre was still worried about Rainbow, but the Orange leader had taken him to the Orange Village to calm down for a bit, so he wasn't able to check on him. He went to Blue to ask how the Green Steves were going, and he said they were shaken, but other than that had mostly calmed down. They were now with the Violet Steves that they had saved earlier. After they had saved the Violet Steves, they had made a house next to Blue's so that anymore Steves that had been saved from the darkness and couldn't go back to their respective kingdoms/villages could stay. When Sabre had went to check on Time and Elemental, they were fast asleep, so he was pretty much alone in the house Rainbow had made for them. He let out a sigh and started walking to his bedroom.

It had been a long day, and all he wanted to do at this point was sleep for a million years. Too much had been happening lately, too much stress for him and especially Rainbow Steve. He finally got to his room and was about to get to that million years of sleep when he heard a slight knocking at his bedroom window, which scared the living daylights out of him, causing him to jump backwards halfway across the room. He looked over to the window now hiding behind his bedframe only to relax after seeing that it was just Nova, the darkness infected bird from that was completely unfazed by almost being hit by lightning in the Orange Village. He smiled and walked over to the window, opening it slightly so the bird could get in. It quickly flapped up to his shoulder and started cooing and nudging their head into Sabre, which was honestly one of the cutest things he ever saw.

He started petting Nova which the bird happily excepted, dark particles now radiating off them. "Heh, calm down Nova, your gonna infect something...", Sabre said half-heartedly, as it wasn't really that much of a concern to him, seeing as he probably could get rid of a small infection without much energy. When was the last time he used his energy for something? He probably shouldn't let it build up again... A loud squawkdistracted Sabre from his thoughts, looking down at the infected bird that was now trying to demand for more pets. He chuckled at this. "Sorry Nova, but I wanna sleep, and I'm afraid I can't do that and pet you at the same time", he said to the dark creature, getting a grumpy sounding chirp in reply. He smiled as the bird flew off anyway and landed on a shelf in his room and seemed to doze off almost immediately. 'It's probably not a good idea for them to be in here, considering one of the others might find them.... ah well' Sabre thought, not having the heart to wake the somehow already asleep bird. He jumped on the bed, wincing as his injured shoulder which he forgot about ached a little. He moved around a little until it was in a position that it didn't hurt and welcomed the bed's soft and warm embrace as he fell asleep almost as fast as the darkness bird next to him.

Sabre opened his eyes and found himself somewhere other than his room, which very quickly drove him into a panic. He looked around quickly until he noticed he was in a mesa biome, and not only that but he could see the house that that Emerald Steve had been in. 'Okay, never mind, not awake...' Sabre thought, not being so happy about having another dream of the Steve Saga. It only reminded him of what he failed to do...

He suddenly saw giant balls of bedrock appearing in the sky and stepped back with surprise. After a few seconds of nothing else happening other than some lightning, he stepped forward again to look down where the house was, and with a closer look he could make out... himself, Alex, The Guardian and that Emerald Steve outside of the house, panicking. 'Waaiiitt.... How am I dreaming of myself from a distance?? Is this like... an out of body experience?? But in a dream??? No, that's not how it works...is it?' Sabre shook off that odd thought and continued watching. He saw himself and everyone else go back inside for a bit, and then the others without him run back out. The others started to run seemingly as far as they could. Maybe it was like his first dream, but from a different view...

He waited and watched a few seconds longer, seeing more bedrock boulders appearing in the sky, until he was startled by two cloaked figures appearing on the hill beside him. He took a fearful step back until remembering again that this was a dream. Though, he just kept getting more confused. How was he seeing things in his dream that weren't there when is actually happened (or as far as he could see weren't there)? In fact... one of the cloaked figures seemed to be the same one that was working with Void! But now he could see a single white eye glowing beneath the cloaks shadow... But then, who was the other mysterious figure? Looking closer, he could see the same sort of white glowing eye, except he could also almost make out the other eye... was that magenta or purple he could see? Or maybe it was pink.

Just as he thought that, the second unknown person raised their hand and more balls of bedrock appeared in the sky. A few seconds past until a blinding light appeared from the house that the Emerald Steve had lived in, causing Sabre to lift his arm in front of his face to protect his eyes from the bright light. Despite it being a dream, it was painful to look at with how bright it was. The light expanded in a sort of sphere and seemed to just grow large and larger, ingulfing everything in its path with its glow. But in moments, it retreated back into the house, or, more accurately, the ruins of the house, as if it were being pulled back. Well, he guesses is sort of was, thinking back slightly and remembering what he did to try and prevent the explosion...

Where there was once a portion of the Mesa biome was now a huge crater, with barely anything having of survived. He and the two cloaked figures had been standing far away enough that the light hadn't touched them, but it had gotten very close, as they were now standing on practically the border of the massive hole.

The figure who had been seeming to summon the mounds of bedrock, which had also been destroyed in the blast, now lowered their hand slowly and stared at what used to be a mesa biome and house.

"Uhm... It seems he has teleported away, sir...", the figure that Sabre had recognised to be the same person working with Void spoke up. This slightly startled the player. He hadn't heard the entity speak in English yet, only Galactic. The second figure clenched their fists and bunched up their shoulders, letting out a low, menacing growl. They suddenly spun around, their white and, as Sabre could now see, purple eyes glowing in anger.

"I can see that, you fool! What do you think I am, an idiot!?", they snarled angrily at the other figure.

"I- uh- no I-", the one that was working with Void mumbled, holding up their hands defensively and backing away slightly, seeming to be afraid of the other. The purple eyed figure stood there fuming for a few more seconds until seeming to calm down, letting out an agitated sigh.

"I don't have time for this", they said, pushing past the other and walking in the direction of Sabre. Sabre stood there stiff as the cloaked figure came closer until walking through him. It felt rather odd, not painful, but odd. As he looked back, he swore he saw them flinch, but probably not, since this was a dream. He wasn't actually there.

They opened a bright portal and stepped through, the portal quickly closing behind them in a small flash. Hearing a tired sigh, Sabre turned back at the person that had stayed behind and watched in surprise as they slowly slid down their brown, almost red tinted cloak. There face was... in short term, terrifying. Half of their face looked rather similar to Steve, but with a bright white glowing eye. The other half of their face... it looked as if netherrack had been melted to their face. There was a faint red glow where another eye would have been, probably meaning that there once was an eye but was now covered by the red rock of the Nether. A shiver went down the player's back. It didn't look too pleasant, but it didn't seem to bother the figure. They then looked back out at the massive crater that had formed only about a minute before, showing more netherrack that seemed to be melted into their brown hair.

Wait... is that-?

When sabre said he forgot his injury, that meant I did, I had to add it last second when remembering

Bit of an update on chapter uploads, I may start going to every 2 weeks, and if I'm able to write some chapters early I might be able to get it to every week, but not too sure about that one since I might need to go on hiatus as I don't have many chapter recaps left to write from. But either way, hope you enjoyed this chapter :)

*also the update thing isn't definite at the moment :/ it still might be random or when I have time*
