     It was an awkward silence that filled the house. Only sounds of utensils were heard all around. The elders were glancing at the children, a low atmosphere surrounding the three.

"So! How was your stay here, Kyungsoon?", Mingi's mom asked out of the blue to cheer up the atmosphere.

"It was nice auntie. It's been so long since my family and I have been here, memories kept coming back.", Kyungsoon answered with a bright smile.

"I didn't know you two would be here too! I thought only Kyungsoon was here so I invited her only. You should've said something.", Mingi's dad laughed as he scolded the parents of Kyungsoon.

"We wanted to surprise you too! We just arrived yesterday morning so it really connected with our schedule.", Kyungsoon's mom answered as she took a bite of the food.

"Well, we have a new face here! Who are you young man?", Kyungsoon's dad gave a smile to Yunho.

"Annyeonghaseo, my name is Jeong Yunho. Also a friend of Mingi!", Yunho took out his hand for a handshake. The parents of Kyungsoon gladly accepted it.

"You are such a kind boy! How did you meet Mingi?", Kyungsoon's mom asked.

"We were in a dance academy and were acquainted but got closer when we became trainees.", Yunho replied, his bright smile not leaving his face. Even though he looked happy on the outside, he was wary by the death glare that Kyungsoon was giving him.

"You two are singers?! How nice!", Kyungsoon's mom clapped her hands with happiness.

"It's not a big matter auntie, we're just happy that we got to achieve our dream together.", Mingi looked at Yunho with those tender eyes. Kyungsoon's parent's both looked at each other in suspicion.

"I'm really proud of my son that he did his best and gave all his effort. Now he's successful in life!", Mingi's dad complimented Mingi, patting his son's back.

"Look Kyungsoon! Both you an Mingi are now successful in life! I'm sure when the two of you get married, nothing bad will happen.", Kyungsoon's dad laughed.

     The room went silent and Yunho accidentally dropped his utensils. The people inside diverted his attention to him. Mingi's parents were worried about how Yunho felt. They haven't informed Kyungsoon's parents about Mingi and Yunho being in a relationship.

"Is there something wrong, Yunho-sshi?", Kyungsoon's mom asked, a hint of worry. Yunho looked up, tears were in his eyes but he covered it with a smile.

"O-oh, I'm sorry. I have to go to the bathroom first.", Yunho stood up and walked fast to the bathroom, away from the dining room.

"Yunho, wait!", Mingi put down his chopsticks and tried to run after Yunho but was stopped by his dad.

"I'm sure Yunho will be alright. You should probably tell your uncle and auntie about this matter.", Mingi's dad said in a stern voice. Mingi looked at their puzzled faces and sat down.

"I'm sorry. I know that you always supported me and Kyungsoon to be together, but my feelings for her was left in the past. Even my parents support us but I won't force myself to love someone else when the person I love is with me already.", Mingi looked down on the table.

"What do you mean Mingi?", Kyungsoon's mom asked, confused.

"Yunho and I are in a relationship. We officially confirmed it in our relationship yesterday.", Mingi said.

"We didn't know you were gay. We shouldn't have said anything right now.", Kyungsoon's dad said, clearing his throat.

"I'm not gay uncle. It's just that I fell in love with Yunho, and him only.", Mingi gave a small smile.

"Well, there's nothing we can do to break something as strong as love. Now, go and get your lover. We would love to know more about him.", Kyungsoon's mom gave a motherly smile.

     Mingi ran to Yunho who said that he was in the bathroom but once Mingi got there he was nowhere to be seen. Mingi looked all over the first floor until he found Yunho out in the veranda.

"Yunho!", Mingi ran to Yunho who was seated in a swinging bench.

"Why are you here? Don't you have to talked to Kyungsoon's parents about your relationship with her? I'm sure they wouldn't accept us anyway.", Yunho sniffed and looked away. Mingi just stared at the person beside him, sulking and jealous.

"They accept us, you idiot. But I don't know with Kyungsoon. Who cares about her opinion anyways?", Mingi sat beside Yunho and stared in the night sky.

"Wait..what? What did you say?", Yunho glanced at Mingi with scrunched eyebrows.

"I told them about us. I said that I wouldn't dare force myself to love someone else when the person who holds my heart is beside me all the time.", Mingi said and held Yunho's hand.

"Gosh, you're really cheesy right now.", Yunho giggled.

"Come on! I was trying to be romantic right now!", Mingi pouted.

     Yunho stared at Mingi who was being a baby beside him and a smile filled his face. Mingi felt the stare of the other and looked to him. Their eyes locking for a minute.

*lemme just insert this here and scream in my pillow

"Yunho..can I-", Mingi got cut off when a soft pair off lips landed on his.

     He was shocked but the kiss melted him and his eyes slowly closed. He tilted his head a little to make the kiss deeper and soon his hands landed on Yunho's cheek and behind the head.

     They parted after awhile and just stayed staring into each other's eyes, "I love you.", they both said in unison. They giggled at the unexpected coincidence and soon calmed down.

"Well that was cute.", Yunho said. Mingi giggled and intertwined his fingers with Yunho.

"We should probably head back. I'm sure they'd be thinking about what happened to us right now.", Yunho stood up and pulled Mingi.

"Wait...I think they're starting to eat the cake.", Mingi said, his eyes widening. The two of them looked at each other and ran inside the house.
