9 o'clock came sooner than I wanted it too. My alarm went off around 8 and I knew today was going to be never ending. I went to the bathroom, washed my face, and brushed me teeth. The water was cold against my face and teeth. As I walked out of the bathroom, I heard the oven ding from the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen and saw Cassandra making breakfast. "Hey Cass. What ya making?" I asked as I grabbed a glass from the cabinet. "Coffee cake. Want a slice?" she asked as she put a slice on a plate. I grabbed the Orange juice from the fridge and walked over to the table. "Yes thanks," I said as she brought me a slice. I dug my fork into the slice of cake and took a bite. "This is delicious Cass," I said as the finished off the slice. "Well it's nice to know someone appreciates my cooking," she said as she poured herself a glass of milk. I took my plate over to the sink and said, "we all do plus Dexter." "Yea I guess. You better get going," she said. I looked down at the oven clock. 8:33. "Crap I gotta go. See ya in a couple of days," I said as I grabbed my phone. I went out the door with my duffle bag packed for only a couple of days. When I got outside the hotel,I didn't see Cole's motorcycle. All I saw was a red sports car with a cute driver. The driver had deep hair and Oh crap I am not. "Hey princess need a ride," Carter called from his car. Crap crap crap. I am not falling for another dude. This is crazy. "Uh I was actually gonna ride with Cole, wherever he is," I said. "I saw him leave earlier this morning with some chick. So my offer stands, want a ride or do you wanna walk?" he asked as he slowly opened the passenger side door. Cole leaves with some other girl. That's crazy. He wouldn't. Would he? "Ya I would love a ride," I said as I got in the car. We drove for about 20 minutes back to the White House. There we loaded one of the presidents many planes. Cole wasn't there. I got on the plane and got a glass of water. Right at 9 o'clock, Cole boarded the plane in a pair of jeans and a button down shirt. He came over to where I was sitting and tapped me on the shoulder. I pulled out one ear bud and looked at him. "Hey, you didn't text me back this morning or pick me up," I said to him. "Yea um sorry about that. I was busy getting um stuff," he said as he sat next to me. "So you were getting "stuff", I said as I did the air quotes with my fingers. "Yea "stuff"," he said as he mocked my air quotes. "Lies," I said under my breath and put my other ear bud back in. He got up and left the seat. I just can't believe he would lie to me like that. I decided to drift off for a couple of hours. 2.5 hours later, I felt someone tap my shoulder. "Yo Princess we're landing," Carter said. I opened my eyes and looked at him. "Thanks for telling me but please stop calling me princess," I said as I took my headphones out. "I make no promises," he said as he went back over to his seat. I admired him for a moment. The way he moves. His muscles, his hair, his eyes. Ok I have to stay focused on why I'm here. I grabbed my bag and pulled out my hair brush. I brushed my hair and left it as it is and rezipped my bag. Once the plane landed, I grabbed my stuff and got off the plane. We landed in Berlin right outside the broken Berlin Wall. After a couple of seconds, Carter got off the plane. He had changed into a full on black tuxedo. He looked amazing. "Hey Lotte, we're gonna be going to German Museum of Technology," he said. His voice was soft and smooth like dark chocolate. Oh crap oh crap crap. I am in a relationship with Cole. Bad idea. No I can't. "Ok where's Cole?" I asked him. "On the phone on the plane," he replied. "I'll go check on him," I said as I walked back on the plane. I heard Cole's voice. "Yea I know I told you I was gonna be in D.C. Yea I know I said I would hang out with you but I'll be back in the states with you again soon. I love you too. Ok bye." I heard him hang up his phone, sigh, and walk toward me. I needed to act like I hadn't heard anything. I began to walk slowly toward him looking on my phone. When we came face-to-face, I looked up from my phone and said, "hey you ready to go?" "Yea sorry I had to take a call but I'm ready to go," he said as he rapped his arm around my shoulders. I felt his warmth but I felt something else but I couldn't tell what. We walked off the plane and got into a limo. And off we went to the Museum.
