"Lotte. Lotte. LOTTE!!" I heard a voice say as I woke up. "Oh my gosh. You have no idea how happy I am to see you awake," the voice said. My vision cleared and I realized where I was and who I was with. The place I was in appeared to be a conference room. Chairs, tables, and desks were thrown all over the place. I also realized I wasn't alone. Zoe, Carter, and Carter's brother was there. "Guys what's going on?" I asked. "Your "boyfriend," Carter made sarcastic quotations with his fingers. "Sold us out for another girl." I looked down at the floor. "Lotte I'm sorry," Zoe said. I thought about everything that was going on and realized that only one thing mattered, getting Zoe out of here. "I don't care. It was pointless to fall in love. All that matters is that we need to get out of here," I said as I tried to stand up. I fell back on my butt. "Lotte they chained us up," Carter said. As I struggled to break free, I realized two things. 1.) I hate Cole more than I hate wearing short skirts and 2.)I still have my cell phone. Just as I was about to get it out of my pocket, the door opened. Cole and a girl walked in. "Ah it's so nice to meet you Lotte," the girl said. She appeared to be about my age and well dressed. "Nice to meet you too," I replied. I looked over at Cole. "And it's over you two timing son of a....." I was cut off. "What do you want, Kat" Zoe said. "Simple I want you and Lotte to help me to take over the minds of all men and boys in the world," she said. "Look I already told your Grand Master dude no and no means no," I replied. "Just think about it," she turned around became to walk toward the door. "Cole come," she said and they both disappeared. "Guys I have a plan," I said as I pulled my phone out of my pocket. "That's great but who are you gonna call?" Carter asked. He had a point Cassandra and Jillian were in the U.S. Rebecca and Rosie wouldn't be of much help. And then it hit me. "Ash. She's here and can help us," I said as I dialed my phone. Every moment that it rang made me cringe. Please pick up. Please pick up Ash.
