The museum was only a half hour drive. But the drive itself didn't feel like 30 minutes. I was literally sitting in a car with two attractive dudes and I could see the tension between them. I sat in the back with Cole and Carter sat in the passenger seat, looking back at us every few moments. I was tired of the awkward silence. I tapped Carter on the shoulder and asked him, "what do we do once we get there?" "Easy. Convince the German government to allow us to use their data base to search for your friend. We're probably gonna be stuck with a couple of spies. They don't usually trust Americans," he responded. As the limo pulled into the school, I took out my phone and tried to see if I had gotten any texts from the girls. Nothing. I let out a sigh and Cole looked over at me. "You good?" he asked as he linked his hand with mine. I felt the warmth of his hand but there was something else there that wasn't suppose to be. "Yea just haven't heard from the girls," I said as I turned my attention back toward the window. As the limo stopped, I released Cole's hand and opened the car door. I felt a rush of cold air as I stepped out. The museum it's self was large and made of marble. People were walking in and out of the building as Carter and Cole got out of the limo. "We're meeting with General Hans and his second in command, Ash," Carter said as we walked through the tall glass doors. The room itself looked like an extreme science fair. There were thousands of experiments and projects being tested. As we walked through the halls, my eye caught a glimpse of light. I looked over and saw two figures in the corner of the room. One looked to be a middle aged man with a mustache in a suit while the other looked to be girl a little older than me. She had short brown hair and looked to be about my height. She was wearing a blue dress and converse. "Guys I've found them," I said as I pointed in their general direction. Carter looked at a picture on his phone and shook his head in agreement. Cole leaned over to me and asked, "how did you know it was them?" "Easy. No girl would were a dress and converse unless they were about to fight," I responded. We casually walked over to them. As we were walking, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. "You must be the Americans. My name is General Hans and this is Ash," the man said in a strong German accent. "My name is Agent Carter Diego and this is...." I cut him off."Lotte Jackson," I said in my old southern accent. The two other spies looked at each other and began to laugh. Cole leaned over while they were laughing and asked, "since when are you southern?" "I'm from Texas so when I moved to Mobile I dropped the accent as much as I could," I replied as the two German spies caught their breath. "I was hoping one,how you say, "y'all"was like that. Come I have a room set up for our meeting," General Hans said as he walked back toward a room. Before I walked in, I looked at the message I had gotten. It was from Jillian. "Just an update. We've been training and doing research. No new information has been discovered. Bright side, I'm dating your cousin." What the heck just happened. Trevor and Jillian. I must be going crazy. I put my phone back in my pocket and walk into the room. I sat between Carter and Cole and took a sip of my water. "Now that everyone is here, I would like to welcome you to our fine country. Now what may I do to help you," the general said. "Thank you and we would like access to all security cameras," Carter said as confident as he could. The two just looked at each other and cracked a smile. "Now why on earth would you want that information?" the girl,Ash, asked. "Because my best friend, along with other girls, was kidnapped by a terrorist group. We believe they are hiding in your country," I said. "Ok if they are hiding here we would know," the man replied as he took a sip of his drink. "They look like average people. The only way to tell is of they look like this man." I showed them the picture of my friend's kidnapper. "They are mass producing boys that look like this to lure girls," I said as I put the picture back in my pocket. "If you American spies say so than we shall give you some information but not all. One of you can work in the control room for a week with Ash. The other two are to be put back on a plane and sent back," the general replied. I thought about the offer. Only one of us? Seemed crazy. I looked over at Cole. He had a dazed look again. I looked at Carter just as he said, "it's a deal. I'll stay." "What no. This is my friend. I'll stay," I said. I don't know how or why I'm standing but I knew I didn't want to sit down. Cole was silent but he had a look of worry. "The girl stays. Ash go help the girl get her things," he said as he stood up as well. He walked out of the room. I felt Cole grab my arm. "What the heck was that?" he asked. "Me saving my friend," I replied, ripping my arm away from him. I walked out of the room without saying another word. As I arrived at the limo, I felt my phone vibrate. It was from Jillian. "Hey got info for ya. They're not in Germany but they are in Europe. They're in Paris." Paris? You've got to be kidding me. Well I'm screwed. I ran back inside to tell Carter and Cole.
