I should probably mention that I drew the cover myself! I'm no artist, but I think I did a pretty good job.
Also thanks for the 6 votes in the first chapter already. It's nice to know that you guys like my idea too.

The town didn't have the main entrance from what I could tell. It was like a village you can find in Minecraft normally but bigger and more detailed. The houses and buildings were mostly brown and red. Each has a different size and design. The smaller buildings are all in a line probably meaning they were homes for the people who lived here. The other structures had their designs they were probably shops and meeting rooms for those in charge of the place. It reminds me of an upgraded village.
"Wow, this place looks amazing!" Ivy says looking around. She looked at each building carefully, curious about the designs.
"Yeah, this place is amazing," I say looking around myself. There were people on the street trading things with other people like weapons, food, and clothing. Not any rare materials though. I looked through my inventory quickly to see a notebook, ten torches, and a worn bow with twenty-seven arrows. With a few pieces of white wool at the bottom of the bag.
"Ivy, what do you have? We need to see what he can trade." Ivy looks through her inventory.
"I have some wool, torched, a bow with eighteen arrows, a few blankets we used for our beds, charcoal, wood, and flint." That doesn't sound like anything we can use to trade with.
"Okay we don't have a lot.... I'll give you my wool and the notebook I have. I'll see if we can do any jobs for the town people to get supplies and you can see if you can get anything from that." She nods and I give her the wool and notebook.
"Are you sure? People might be scared since you act differently than most people."
"I'm sure it will be okay. I'll just act normal." She nods and goes one way and I go the other. I looked around and listened to the people who were sealing supplies.
"Two Iron for 10 arrows!" I heard a male voice say.
"Okay, That's 5 gold nuggets for 3 loaves of bread." I heard a different male voice say.
"Alright here." A young boy said to the man. I kept walking. I listened to deals being made and trades they were giving out. Sadly nothing I had would be able to trade for. Most of the trades are for Iron and Gold. Maybe if I mine some in the caves I can get better trades for me and Ivy.
"Timmy! Timmy! Where are you?!" I heard a female voice say. It was different and sounded panicked. I looked at the sound to see an older lady with brown hair a blue eyes. She wore a brown and white simple dress. With interest, I walked over to her.
"Are you alright?" I doubt it, but it's the only way to start this conversation.
"I can't find my son. Have you seen him?" She asked me in a panic, her voice quaking as she spoke.
"What does he look like?" I questioned her, trying to help ease her worries.
"Brown hair and brown eyes. He is small and was wearing a blue shirt with dark blue overalls."
"No, I haven't seen him. I'm sorry." She looked even more upset. She sighs and looks away from me.
"If you see him please tell me." Before I could tell her I would she was walking off trying to find her son. I hope her son is alright... A missing kid is hard to cope with, especially if it's their own.
I left the town and went into the forest that was close by. The trees were thin and most were newly grown. Any caves I found were mostly used up in supplies. I had to go very deep into the forest to find a cave that hadn't been explored yet.
