"Tell me one thing. How come you always find the bad stuff first? " Minjun stated confused as she picked one large piece of wood in her arms.
Zack made his way to help her, but Minjun refused his help. "I got this."
The boy threw his hands in the air as a sign of defeat and returned to his original task.
Faith left a sigh escape from her lips, she wasn't feeling happy at all with what happened. She was the one that witnessed Wells's dead body first thing in the morning. She was also the one that had to bury him since no one else felt like doing it. Except for Finn who did the closing. "I do not know," she answered the question Minjun did before.
"Blame it on my bad luck?" She asked. It wasn't really much of a question. It was just a sad statement. She left the shovel on the ground with a thump and walked a little farther.
"Maybe you shouldn't have said that," Zack whispered to Minjun, seeing that Faith hadn't moved on from the incident yet.
Faith felt a pat on her head and turned her head around to see Finn smiling down at her. "Stop thinking. It's not going to make it any less terrible,"
"Tell me about it." She laughed ironically. "It's not like I want to think of it. It's playing on repeat over and over again." She explained the moment Monty walked out of the dropship.
His eyes locked with hers as he walked closer to them. "Did you figure it out?" Finn asked. "I did. Now the wristband is alive, but until we try it we can't be sure if it's gonna work," Monty explained. Faith found herself not understanding the meaning of the sentence, but she didn't get the chance to ask, since Finn spoke first.
"Maybe there is a way. I'll be back later."
Finn took the chance to sneak out of the camp and visit the art supply store to find something that could possibly help Monty.
"Wait, where are you even going?" She asked with confusion but Finn was already gone between the trees. "Did he just left?" She asked Monty, surprised.
Monty shrugged right after he noticed Jasper and Octavia following Bellamy with troubled expressions.
"What happened? Everything okay?" Monty asked Jasper and he moved his head left and right. They quickly walked off to Clarke's tent.
"What were you talking about earlier?" She finally asked the question she wanted before. "Is there a chance to make contact?" The excitement grew in her voice, her eyes sparkled with hope.
"Yes, there's a chance we could make contact. I was about to continue working on it but it seems like we have a problem," he said concerned, glancing at the tent they went in to discuss.
"I'm sure it's nothing impo-" She stopped talking when she saw Murphy picking a fight with Minjun.
Minjun was about to raise another piece of wood when Murphy bumped into her purposely, dropping it down. Minjun was pissed off and out of control. "Hey! What's your problem? "
