the car ride was quite long, as the closest hospital was a half hour away and the hospital your mum was at was further since she fell near her work, which is at least an hour away.

in the car was, you, tubbo, tubbos mum, teagan, and lani. tubbos mum and lani sat in the front, while teagan sat in the back with you and tubbo. you and tubbo were sat slightly apart, both staring out windows, the same worried expressions on your faces. lani was chattering away on the front seat to no one in particular. but you could barely hear her over the drowning voice of your worries. you looked up at tubbo, staring stolidly out the front window.
"tubbo?..." you asked quietly
"hm?" he answered replying as quick as possible so he wouldnt show the worry in his voice.
"please tell me whats wrong" you pleaded in less than a whisper.
"y/n.."
"please?"
"i- i- cant"
"why" you asked barely audible at this point. he wouldnt even look at you. his eyes were fixed on the road.
"b- because."
you gave in and stopped arguing. tubbo saw how upset you were and hugged you lightly around the shoulders. you twisted your body around and wrapped your arms around his torso, hugging him tightly. the movement seemed to suprise him, but he hugged you back just as tight.
"you wanna listen to some music?" tubbo asked quietly
"uh yes" you replied
"what you feel like listening to?"
"um i dont know, anything thatll drown out the worries"
"um ok" he said "have you ever heard any of corpses songs?"
"cant say i have"
"why dont we listen to that for a bit then, its like heavy metal and it swears once or twice, so we better put headphones in."
he handed you one of his earpods and played the song. your initial reaction was that the song sounded edited to make his voice deeper, but tubbo told you thats just corpses voice. you listened for a while before picking up a few of the lyrics. you absent mindedly started singing them every so often.

sayin that she know me i dont even know her @ tho..."
teagan looked at tubbo confusedly and tubbo just shushed her.
you were still curled up with tubbo, your head on his arm while he cradled you. your eyes slowly closed and you fell asleep to corpses music.

TUBBOS POV:
you noticed her slowly falling asleep and looked down at her face cuddled into your chest. once she finally lost conciousness, you started absently playing with her long soft y/h/c hair. (y/h/c=your hair colour) you wished you could tell her what was worrying you, but if you did, she would be upset and stressed and not at all happy with you.

the rest of the car ride was peacefull. lani's chattering had finally subsided, and y/n was fast asleep in your arms. you were still playing with her hair. and you started quietly humming the new song you had put on.

read the screen. the song wasnt released yet, but wilbur had given each of the smpers a download of it.

y/n stirred in your lap and placed her hand on your chest in sleep. you smiled slightly, pulling her gently towards you to get into a more comfortable postion. once you had done this, you just looked. you just stared at her beautiful face. she was hella cute when she was asleep. she was hella cute either way. with her gentle y/e/c eyes, and perfect round lips, and the cutest freckles ever. she was the very definition of perfect. even the things she said were perfect. when she spoke her voice was like a melody that you could never get out of your head, and dont want to. her laugh was like a tinkle of windchimes in summer. and when she laughed. her long hair would cascade over her shoulders like a waterfall, and her fringe would fall in her face. she was perfect in every way.
