TUBBO POV:

you heard a faint knock on the door of the bedroom and then Lanis face poked round the corner.

"make sure you stay quiet" you said in hushed tones
"she's asleep"

Lani nodded and came into the room. she sat down on the bed next to you and crosses her legs.

"is she okay?" she asked

you didn't have to ask to know what she meant.

"she's been through alot. still going through alot. I wish there was something, anything we could do to help. but currently all we can do is support her."

she nodded again.

"how long has she been asleep?"

"a while, probably since a bit after I came up here"

"so she hasn't eaten?"

"no, not yet"

"should we wake her?"

"no. let her sleep. if she doesn't wake up in the next hour I will, but for now she's fine"

Lani nodded a third time and fell silent. after a few minutes she left the room. you felt y/n's steady breathing against your chest. she shifted slightly in sleep and turned to the side, resting her shoulder against you and was being held up by your arm.

after 20 minutes she stirred again, this time sitting up slightly dazed. she then turned around and hugged you.

"have a nice sleep?"

"yea.. slept well. thanks"

"no problem, you hungry?"

"I could eat"

"wanna go get some food?"

"in all honesty, no. I wanna stay here."

"well then I'll go get food, you stay here, I'll get my laptop and we can watch a movie together. how 'bout that?"

"mhm"

she was still clogged with sleep as she replied.

"can I use the bathroom a minute though?" she asked politely

"yea yea of course, I'll go get my laptop and food, you use the bathroom then get comfy under the blankets."

"yea"
