"not bad" you noted
you and tommy had managed to build a 6 X 8 wooden house next to technos. it wasnt much, but tommy loved it.
"ahhh thank you y/n!!"
"hey you helped!" you said laughing
"eh you did most of the work"
you grinned and helped him move his stuff from technos basement.
"at least your not living in your brothers basement anymore." you joked
"yea thank GOD!" techno added "seriously though y/n i really appreciate it. you'll be a great addition to this team"
you were about to reply when you saw a house just around the corner of the mountain behind technos house.
"hey techno?"
"hm?"
"whose house is that?"
you saw the nametag before he could reply.
"ranboo?" you asked
"uh yea, he is very very against dream, although he cant remember why." techno replied
"is he okay? he doesnt look like hes doing much"
"he doesnt very often. doesnt know what to do with himself. he just wonders around trying to remember."
"remember what?"
"anything" tommy butted in "he sometimes forgets about us if we dont talk to him for a while."
"wow... he never said anything in the meetings..." you muttered
"course he didnt! dreams with them! hes downright terrified of dream! and for very good reason!" techno exclaimed.
"what reason?" you questioned calmly
"dream torchered him. made him delusional. dreams the reason he cant remember. dream made him go insane. though ranboo doesnt remember that. all he remembers is that he is very against dream. and thats all we need with help." tommy replied solemnly
"i cant believe i didnt know about the pain he is going through.. and you guys... im so sorry i didnt come to help you sooner." you uttered softly
"dont worry. you werent to know" said another familiar deep voiced character.
"oh ranboo i didnt realise you joined the vc.." you trailed off not sure what to say.
"hows it going buddy?" tommy asked him lightly
"well i managed to remember something. but i dont know what it means." he replied sounding rather confused.
"what is it?" you asked softly
"well, its not much. its someone.. not sure who, saying a line... well a few lines really..."
"which are?" you asked slightly more urgently now.
"it was something like "you just have to try remember why - you just have to think. you just have to remember, just remember, remember, remember..." he quoted.
