Blake's POV
My eyes slowly blinked open only to squeeze back shut at the bright lights around me.
As my eyes strained open again, I tried to stretch my sore body, but realized I couldn't.
I looked down to see my arms and legs tied up together to a chair. I screamed in shock, yet the sound was muffled by the bandana tightly tied around my mouth.
"Well look who's finally awake." I heard a deep voice say from behind me.
I craned my neck to see who it was and froze when my eyes met Bryce's. He smiled evilly at me and came to stand next to me before pulling out his phone.
Minutes later, Dixie walked in and quickly closed what I now noticed was the abandoned locker room door behind her.
Something black and shiny stuck out from her back pocket and it made a dinging sound as her ring covered fingers wrapped around it.
Dixie slowly removed the object from her pocket and let it dangle from her middle finger.
I felt my heartrate speed up at the sight of the gun only a few inches in front of me.
Dixie walked over to my other side and leaned down next to my ear, "Listen here, I'm gonna give you your phone and you're going to call Noah and say exactly what I tell you. Or else,"
She lifted the hand holding the gun and shot a locker, sending a bullet straight through the cheap metal.
"Understand?" I nodded quickly and she gestured something to Bryce who removed the gag.
I gasped as I could finally breathe easy again. I was about to scream out for help until my eyes darted to the gun still dangerously close to my head.
Dixie dug through the large, black bag on her shoulder and finally pulled out my phone. Bryce untied one of my arms and Dixie handed me the phone.
"Now, call Noah and read this." She said, holding up a piece of paper with a script on it.
I did what she said, putting it on speaker mode and listening to the phone ring as it echoed throughout the silent locker room.
"Blake, hello?! I was so worried! Where are you? It's almost 9 PM." Noah said, sounding stressed.
"N-noah, we need to break up?" I read out loud, saying it like a question because I was confused.
"What? Is this some kind of joke?"
"I'm not good for you, you should be with Dixie."
The other end was quiet until I heard soft sniffles, "Blake, are you being serious?" Noah asked, surprised and hurt.
"It's for your own good." With each word, my heart broke a little more.
I hung up the phone and looked up at Dixie who was still standing over me. She gave me a nod of approval and motioned to Bryce who put the gag back on and tied my arm up.
"Once I get with Noah, you'll be free to go. Until then, we'll keep you down here." She said, leaving and closing the door.
My eyes began to well up with tears and my entire body started trembling as I sobbed, the tears falling and soaking into the bandana.
Noah's POV
I sat completely still, unable to move as the words Blake had said swirled around my head.
How could this be happening?
I'd been waiting for him to come back with my car for 3 hours since school let out, but he never came.
