Blake's POV

I was walking to my locker the next morning, completely drained from staying up too late last night.

I had actually planned to go to bed early, but Jaden called me and couldn't stop talking about his partner Anthony.

He definitely has a crush on him, but I'm not gonna be the one to tell him.

As I finally made it through the crowd of students in the hall, I noticed someone leaning against my locker.

Once I got closer I saw that it was Sam Hurley.

His distracted look turned to a smug one after he noticed me in front of him.

We had been friends with benefits ever since Sam realized he was bi and wanted to explore his gay side.

Although I still liked Noah, it was nice to have someone who liked me back, even if it wasn't romantically.

"Hey babe." Sam said, wrapping an arm around my waist.

"What have I told you about calling me that?" I said, pushing his arm away.

"Not to, but I don't listen."

"You think?"

He just smiled that annoyingly sweet smile and moved out of my way.

I began putting things in my locker and trying my best to ignore the hand that he had put back on my side.

Sam moved his fingers in a circular motion on my waist and it felt strangely good, but I was not about to do 'it' this morning.

"Not now Sam."

"Aww, come on." He made a pouty face that I really wanted to give into.

"K-knock it off." I mumbled, looking away from his eyes.

"Fine." He sighed and leaned back on the locker next to mine.

He stood up straight when he saw someone approaching.

I saw a shadow form over me and I was kind of nervous to turn around.

When I did turn to look, it was none other then Noah practically towering over us and glaring at Sam.

Noah's POV

"Hey, look over there."

Dixie and I had been talking until she pointed out something that made my blood boil.

Some guy had his hand on Blake's waist, and Blake didn't seem to care.

My body reacted before my mind could and I walked to where they were, rage taking over.

They looked up and saw me, both cowering with fear.

"H-hey Noah." Blake stuttered.

"Who is he?" I growled, pointing at the person next to him.

"Uhh, this is Sam."

"Well Sam," I grabbed his collar and pushed him up against the lockers.

"Don't touch him like that again or it'll be the last thing you do. Understood?" I whisper yelled in his ear.

He nodded vigorously and I dropped him back to the ground.

"Let's go Blake, we have science."

I grabbed his arm again before he could respond and pulled him to the classroom.

We sat down next to each other, not saying a word.

It had been silent for a while since our teacher was late, and Blake finally broke the silence.
