Hogsmeade

Dressed in black jeans, a dark green flannel and layers of chained necklaces, Skylar made her way to Hogsmeade with Caylin and Pansy by her side. Caylin was dressed in denim jeans and a sage sweater layered over a white collared shirt while Pansy wore a fancy white blouse with a black sweater, skirt, and stockings. The three girls waited excitedly to present their permission slips that enabled them to take a trip to Hogsmeade. Even though the weather was freezing cold, the girls had dressed to impress.

Surprisingly, they saw Draco standing at the end of the line, fidgeting with a package in his hand. Nonetheless, the girls stuck to their plan; they were going to go out together as a trio to spend the day buying tons of sweets from Honeydukes and having a nice drink at either The Three Broomsticks or at Madame Pudifoot's Tea shop.

The journey to Hogsmeade was filled with the laughs and chatter of the three girls along with their fellow schoolmates who were also making their way there.

Out of a sudden, Skylar felt something cold hit her back.

"Snowball fight!" Yelled Naomi and Blaise.

The three girls dropped their conversation almost immediately and began scooping up lumps of snow from the ground beneath them and throwing at the young couple.

Then, Blaise spotted the golden trio walking their way. The boy signalled for the girls to hide. With mountains of snowballs at the ready, they crouched behind a bush. At Blaise's command, they threw their snowballs at Potter and his friends.

Granger squealed in surprise at the sudden rush of cold, she jumped behind Weasley, while Potter looked at Skylar. The two boys crouched down and got a handful of snow.

"No you will not!" Demanded Granger to her friends, she crossed her arms. "They started it, 'Mione." Responded Weasley with a shrug. Skylar laughed and leaned back onto a tree. "Will you keep chatting with your girlfriend or are you going to throw the snowball?"

"We're not dating!" They hissed, synchronised.

"Whatever." Pansy said, drawing out the 'ever'. Potter drew back his arm and threw a ball straight to Blaise's face, causing him to fall on his arse. Naomi rushed to his side and pretended to check whether he was okay, placing a hand on his face and the other behind her back with a snowball in hand. Then, she proceeded to smear the snow all over him, the couple laughed hysterically together. At the same time, Weasley missed a shot at Skylar while Potter threw a snowball at the back of Caylin's head.

The path was echoing with their squeals and laughter. Skylar went to the ground and picked up some snow, packing it tightly in her hand. She shot it at Granger's shoulder. "I am not playing!" The girl yelled, using her gloved hand to shake off the snow. "Yeah? Well you're boring, Granger!" Skylar yelled back.

"Hey, Sky. Look who it is." Whispered Caylin while throwing a snowball at Weasley, who ducked and stuck out his tongue at her. Skylar looked over to her right and saw Draco walking past them, the strange package still in his hands while his head was hung low.

"I dare you to throw a snowball at him." Caylin told her.

"I dunno, that git would probably hex me into the next century." Skylar laughed, but still got onto her heels to get a ball of snow. "It's a clear shot. Do it now." Caylin said. The girl contemplated, nodded, and then stood up and threw the ball right at the Slytherin boy with all of her might.

Potter, Weasley and even Granger stared at Draco with their eyes wide. Potter was trying hard not to laugh while Weasley was already snorting loudly behind him. Granger looked at the blonde boy, confused. He merely shrugged off the snow and brushed it off his shoulders.

For a second, the Slytherins and Gryffindors exchanged eye contact with each other, as if to say, "what was that about?"

"Are you not going to fight back?" Said Naomi.

"I don't need you lot wasting my time. Especially not when you're having fun with them. Get out of the way Skylar," He said as the girl walked towards him, looking at him with a face full of worry while he looked Potter up and down.

"You're boring Malfoy, even more boring than Granger." Said the girl through her teeth, not moving away from the boy, gaining a sigh from the curly haired girl.

"It's back to the last name basis then?" He raised his eyebrow and gave a tiny smirk.

Skylar merely glared at him.

"I'll see you around Star." He sighed and walked past her.

"Come on, you two. Let's get going; I quite fancy a butterbeer at the moment." Granger nodded towards the path that lead to the Three Broomsticks. "Yeah same here." Potter for some reason kept his eyes dead on Malfoy though. "Erm thanks for the game, I guess?" He added before grabbing both Weasley's and his own's bag.

"I guess?' Oh we better get more than an I guess. We just made ourselves look like we're friends with you dimwits." Caylin placed her hands on top of her hips and laughed. "Alright, thanks for not hexing us for beating you all." Potter said with much sarcasm in his voice. "You know very well that we wouldn't have hexed you!" Skylar told with almost offense in her voice. "Well..." Pansy mumbled.

"See!" Both Weasley and Potter spat.

"Oh shut your trap. Don't you have a poly relationship date at the Three Broomsticks to go to?" Blaise gently draped his arm over Noemi's shoulders. "We're not-" "Ronald, come on! They're just trying to get us to fight them. Oh look you're all In a fit now. Come on, Harry."

'Come on. You can do it, just give someone the package and be done with it.'' Malfoy kept telling himself, drawing nearer and nearer to The Three Broomsticks.

"You didn't spend all your money on 'Every Flavour Beans', did you, Katie?" A feminine voice asked from behind Draco. Two girls walked past him; they were huddled together due to the harsh, cold weather.

"When they mean every flavour, they mean it! I haven't got to taste dirt yet, Leanne!"

Malfoy rushed past them, his breath able to be seen through the cold air. He made it to the cavern and open the door lightly, trying not to bring attention to himself. Looking around, he walked to the front where Madam Rosmerta was chatting up some seventh year boys. She looked away from them, and put her attention to Draco. "Hello, dear! What can I get you today? Something warm? Perhaps a butterbe-"

'Imperio'

Luckily no one noticed when her head tilted back in an off manor, or that he had stuck his wand at her. The door made a 'ring' noise, Draco looked over to see Katie and her friend, Leanne walking in. They both took a seat  while waited for a waiter to come. After a few minutes, Katie got off her seat and made her way to the women's loo. Draco followed.

She opened and closed the door behind her, Malfoy opened the door, then locked it with his wand behind him. The package still in hand. Before she went to one of the stalls, she looked at her reflection, and jumped back; grabbing her wand.

"What the bloody hell are you doing in the women's loo?! You-you perv!" She screamed at him.

Before saying another word, he gave her the package, still wrapped up. "What's this? W-why did you give this to me? Get out of here! Get out before I scream and the whole cavern will be in here faster than you can say Quidditch!"

Draco muttered a spell under his lips, and she fell silent. Katie froze and looked him dead in the eye. "Go to Madam Rosmerta." Was the only command he gave to her. She complied and began to walk out the door. He waited a few seconds before walking out, going to the front. Draco saw her in front of Rosmerta, then turned on her heel. The package still in hand.

"What's that?" Katie's friend asked.

"I need to bring it to Dumbledore." She responded dryly.

'Perfect' Malfoy smirked.
