Truth or Dare?

The rest of that day went by rather quickly. After Care for Magical Creatures Skylar had Transfiguration and then the rest of the time was meant for students to do their homework but since it was the first day of school, there wasn't much to do. Skylar thought that the lessons were rather boring though, except for the parts where she made fun of Crabbe and Goyle and a few other people in class. Skylar made her way back to her room and sat down to do her essay on Non-verbal spells. All she had to do was write 800 words.

"How bad could that be?" She thought.

She pulled out some parchment and started writing.

and then she stopped.

It was getting hard for her to focus. Skylar began to daydream once again, her fingers tapping the side of her table continuously. She buried her face in her hands. Skylar's breathing began to quicken as her chest grew tighter.

Not again.

Skylar began to bounce her leg up and down over and over again, trying to relief herself from the feeling of anxiety. Then, the sound of three gentle knocks on her door made her head jerk upwards.

"Skylar, would you like to—are you alright?"

The blonde boy strode over to her side. Skylar  pulled the sleeves of her sweater down and shakily wiped her pink cheeks. Draco placed his hand on her shoulder but she shook it off so he took a few steps back.

"What do you want Malfoy."
He flinched at the sound of his last name.

"I wanted to tell you that our friend group has this little tradition to have a little gathering on the night of the first day of school. We'll start at 9o'clock once the younger ones are asleep. Would you like to join us? I don't even know why they want me to invite a filthy halfblood like you but-"

"As long as there are drinks."

"Fine." He said as he spun on his heel and walked out, closing the door behind him.

Soon, it was dinner time. Skylar had wanted to stay her my room but Blaise couldn't take no for an answer. He literally dragged her out of her dark room to the Great Hall.

"So Skylar. Will you be joining us later?" Pansy said.

"Definitely. Wouldn't want to miss all the fun. Besides, I— oh shit!"

Skylar was extending her hands to show her enthusiasm but instead, she hit Crabbe's goblet and pumpkin juice soaked his white shirt. The table erupted with laughter. Pansy laughed so hard that she choked, which made Blaise laugh even harder to the point he was crying. All the other tables turned to look at them and Skylar eyes met Harry Potter's.

"What Potter? Like what you see? Just know I'd pick Snape over you any day!" Skylar spat cheerfully. Goyle snorted. Blaise was already clutching his stomach, trying to stop himself from laughing. Harry looked back down at his plate while the Granger girl sitting beside him stared at Skylar in disgust.

After dinner, the group of Slytherins sat by the fire in the common room until everyone else left to get some rest. Once the coast was clear, Malfoy went and lead the group to his room where he pulled out a bottle of firewhiskey. His room was similar to Skylar's but still bigger. They all sat on the floor in a circle and the boys looked to Skylar for instructions as though she was their game master.

"Let's play spin the bottle."

Everyone looked at her as if they had never heard of the game.

"Are you kidding me? You guys don't know what that is."
