The Truth

Skylar, Caylin and Pansy spent their day visiting and dining at the various shops in Hogsmeade. First, they made their way to Honeydukes, where Caylin spent most of her galleons. Next, with bags of sweets hanging from their arms, the girls made their way to Zonkos and then to Skrivenshaft's for some quills before finally settling down at The Three Broomsticks, where Blaise and Naomi were. There, they ordered four mugs of the long awaited warm butter beer; one for Pansy, one for Skylar, one for Caylin and another for Skylar and Caylin to share.

The day had gone fast for the group of young slytherins. Exhausted, the group went to bed almost immediately after they reached Hogwarts grounds.

The next morning, the students got up late, since it was a Sunday and they did not have school.

"Mornin' Sky." Caylin said, handing her a cup of tea with some crumpets.

"Morning, Cay. So, what do you want to do today?" She asked her friend, taking a seat at the Slytherin table.

"I dunno. We just woke up, give me time for my mind to start working." Caylin mumbled into her cereal.

They chatted during breakfast, ignoring the fact that Potter and his group were being quite hush this morning. Glancing to the Slytherin table ever so often, but quickly looking away when their eyes stopped wondering. It wasn't strange for 'the-boy-who-lived' to be nosy, so the girls paid no mind to them.

When they finished their first meal, the group decided to wonder through the grounds. Even though it was absolutely freezing outside that the students had gathered behind the warm walls of Hogwarts.

"You know, Hogwarts is pretty fascinating during winter." Skylar said in awe. Her breath soaring high through the air.

"Could never agree more, no matter what the blonde git says." Caylin told, she tilted her head to get a better look at the school which was lit up with thousands of candles inside the many rooms.

"Want to bet that Naomi is snogging Blaise." Pansy smirked and chuckled.

"Perhaps even more than that, if you know what I mean." Caylin raised an eyebrow to Pansy.

"You are so nasty!" Skylar laughed and clapped her on the shoulder.

The Slytherins laughed, but soon gagged at the thought of their two friends doing such a thing. "It's their life, but I find it rather gross." Pansy sneered.

"That's because you don't want to do it with a guy." Caylin muttered. Skylar stopped from tracing lines in the snow, and looked up to Pansy.

"W-what?! Wherever did you get such an idea?" Pansy stuttered.

Skylar laughed at the interaction as Pansy glowed with a blush.s.

"Fine, fine! I do! Anyways, it's rather cold out here. We should be going inside." Pansy said, quickly changing the topic. Caylin chuckled and the girls slowly made their way to the steps up to their school.

Groups of students were formed in every corner of the hall, whispering and chattering; which only meant that a recent fight broken out, or something major just happened. "Be right back, I'm going to see what happened." Skylar told the girls.

"What are you lot whispering about?"

The group of Hufflepuffs turned around to face her. "We don't have to talk to you." The boy sneered.

"Well, I happen to be a Slytherin prefect." She, of course, lied.
"No you are not. Where's your badge?" One of the girls asked, crossing her arms.
"We don't have to wear it twenty four seven. What's your lot's names?"
