SHAHRIYAR. POV

(I am sad but not angry with you
I'm in your heart but not around you
If I lie, I have everything
To be honest, I have nothing but you)

(I'm not afraid of desire, I'm afraid of loneliness
I'm not afraid of love but of shame to love you
I have a lot of desire to meet you but
Afraid of separation after meeting you)

                                      ***

I scribbled these verses in the reverie that when I came to my senses I was appalled by my hands.

Why this is happening to me lately? I can't let myself be distracted by her memories.

I shoved my hair backward in dismay when I harked a knock on my door. Fixing my hair I replied "Yes"

Sir Asad Bukhari is here to meet you. I've let him be seated in the sitting room.

I looked at my watch and grinned.
That was fast. I murmured to myself.

Go and arrange some tea for him. I'll be down in a moment.

Ambulating towards my mirror I looked at myself.

Pitch-dark Shalwar and Kameez was looking good on me

Pitch-dark Shalwar and Kameez was looking good on me.

I came down the stairs as Asad Bukhari was waiting for me in anxiety. I was grimacing while walking towards him.

I sat on my chivalrous U-shape raven leather sofa with one of my leg was on the other while my back was relaxing against the sofa head.

How did you remember this lower slave of yours Asad Sahab? I grinned while asserting it.

Do you know Shakir got abducted by those filthy rats? Asad spewed out in resentment.

That can not be possible. Shakir instructed me not to show up and that he'll manage it on his own. How can this happen? I can't believe this. I've to call him. I pretended as I care for Shakir but only my heart knows how pleased I was because I could eventually work with Asad Bukhari. Shakir was the ladder towards Asad Bukhari.
