D-day of incident

Hania had to come back to the hospital as the surgeries of her patients were pending. They were told that Asad have been detained behind the bars for 6 months at least. He ain't coming back soon. 

Hania was relieved but on the other hand, one of the boy's conditions deteriorated because the day Asad proposed to her, she had to do the lil boy's surgery. But after all the chaos she went back to her house nearly forgetting that the boy had a big hole in his heart and need urgent care.

Hania clearly told the hospital staff that after all the operations she had left on her record would be done, she will be leaving the hospital for good.

She was in the operating room for 15 hours. Her body was aching all over. She told Fatima that she will be sleeping in the room which was designed for the doctors who have to do night shifts.

Time passed and it was around 11 pm when a knock on the door jolted her up. She glanced around but couldn't focus as there was darkness in the room. She tried to find her phone near the pillow, but her hand touched, and the phone went down. 

Hania picked it up and was shocked to see the time.

Oh My God! I have to check the patient. Uff! Fatima! Uff! I told her to wake me up before 8 pm, but she must have been busy talking nonsense to the other staff and forgotten about waking me up. Hania was clearly irritated. She mumbled these words and hurriedly put shoes on her feet and ran towards ICU.

That boy whom she operated on was doing fine. A heavy sigh left her lips.

Thank you, Allah Pak! You're the best. Hania said into the air with a grin.

She peeped around and saw her colleagues talking in the corner. Hania ambled there sneakily and shouted "BOO!" which scared the hell out of them.

Hania was laughing so much that her eyes filled with water.

What the hell Hania? You scared the shit out of me. One female colleague uttered while gasping for air.

When will these childish habits of yours go away? The second doctor said with dismay.

While the other male doctors were just shaking their heads in denial because they know the Hania prankster era will never end.

Trust me after I leave this hospital you guys will miss me a lot. After all, I am the soul of this hospital. In this boring hospital, I always make you guys laugh. There was pride and charm in her words.

Everyone nodded with smiles. There was peace, happiness, satisfaction, and many things on their faces but they didn't know that destiny has other plans for them.

Btw where is Fatima? She deserves a smack on her head. Hania glanced around. 

She left because someone broke the window of her house, that too in the day light. Fahad answered her. 

Hania nodded in response and sent a text to Fatima.

Later they started talking about things that happen today when Hania's phone buzzed in her hand.

She saw the notification and her face flushed with many emotions. Everyone noticed and exchanged glances to each other.

One of her male colleagues took out the phone from her hands and read the text loudly.
