Minhaaj Sikander will you take Mah Laaj Afsand Yaar Khan as your wife with 10 lack as Mehr?

G Qabool hai! He said it loud but these three words were sounding so absurd to him. He never thought he would say those words to anyone in his life.

The Maulvi Sahab repeated himself two times to which Minhaaj answered " G Qabool Hai". He then signed on papers with the strange feeling.

Then the Maulvi Sahab turned towards Mah Laaj and asked the same thing.

Mah Laaj Afsand Yaar Khan would you take Minhaaj Sikander as your husband?

Everyone was waiting for Mah Laaj to answer but there was complete silence.

Hadiqa Khanum shook her from shoulders a lil to which in response she mumbled," Qabool Hai".

Her eyes were red from sobbing and she was sitting there like a puppet. Like she needs other people to move her because her soul left her body when her father said she was not his family.

Her moray took her hand to sign on Nikkah's papers.

Minhaaj glanced towards her from the corner of his eye. She was not the Mah Laaj he once know. Her cheeks and nose were red and her eyes were swollen. Minhaaj closed his eyes and bite his lower lip.

So this is how I destroyed another life! A thought passed through his mind.

A weary smile appeared on his face but it vanished when he saw his Hani Api throwing daggers from her eyes while coming from outside of the house.

She told Dadi Jaan that she won't be a part of this ceremony and left the house before Nikkah. All this while she thought Minhaaj loved his childhood friend Mah Laaj and now he did something stupid and marrying another girl. He gulped slowly when Hania looked away.

After the Nikkah ceremony was done Dadi Jaan talked to Hadiqa Khanum and assured her that they would take good care of Mah Laaj. Hania was not talking to Minhaaj at all even if he tried to initiate the talk.

Dadi Jaan was looking around in search of Mah Laaj's father but he was nowhere. He was not even present during the Nikkah.

As time was passing by Dadi Jaan thought it would be the best idea to leave because waiting for Mah Laaj's father won't take them anywhere.

I think we should leave now. Hadiqa beta can you tell the boys about the luggages. They will load it in the car. Dadi Jaan asserted with love.

In just one glance she fell in love with Mah Laaj. Although the circumstances she was coming to Dadi Jaan's house was something she never expected but still she knew she would cherish her Minu's dulhan ( bride) for life.

Izza took Mah Laaj towards the car while the other boys ambled inside the house to take out the luggage.

Everyone said, "ALLAH HAFIZ" and went in their direction.

May Laaj was quiet all along the drive. She didn't utter a single word even when Dadi Jaan asked her something. Minhaaj was driving, Dadi Jaan and Hania was sitting beside her. An dangerous awkward atmosphere was roaming in the car. Hania didn't want to burst out in front of the bride so she was waiting to reach the house.

Minhaaj stopped the car in front of his big house. Dadi Jaan and Hania took Mah Laaj into the house and settled her into Minhaaj's room.

Black stork went back to HQ as they have to track down Dildar Khan.

After coming down Hani finally shouted at Minhaaj.

What have you done to that poor girl? She hasn't spoken since the time we reach there? How could you hurt someone Minhaaj? You loved someone! How could you leave her and marry another girl? How could you hurt someone precious to you? You have seen me in the worst state, you have promised me. In this whole world, I thought I could trust you, the only man who would never hurt a girl but you proved me wrong. At first, her tone was high but later she punched his shoulder a lil and fell to her knees while sobbing.
