Chap 25 Arzu Funeral

Arzu was down.

Minhaaj and the black stork squad killed all the antagonists while covering Arzu.

She was shivering as the blood came out from her mouth.

Izza was shooting without a direction. After 5 minutes battle, black stork gained the victory.

Minhaaj took Arzu in his hands and told her that he will save her but Arzu caressed his hand with a painful smile.

Put me... down.

Arzu groaned in pain. Minhaaj felt a throbbing pain in his chest. Her body was getting cold.

Just don't close your eyes Arzu stay with us. Izza shouted while crying.

Arzu was sitting and her back was leaning against the car. Izza tried giving her first aid although she knew she didn't have time much.

She was crying while looking at Arzu's condition. Umar was handling Ali and Saad was just sitting in the car like a soulless man.

Promise me... you won't cry.

Arzu stammered.

Shut up don't say it like this. Nothing wrong going to happen to you.

Izza yelled at her while her eyes were saying the opposite.

Arzu smiled a lil while taking the last breath of her life. She turned her face towards Minhaaj direction with heavy breathing.

It... was... nice... s-serving... with... you... Black dog...

A tear cascade down to her cheek and she slowly closed her eyes. They lost her forever.

This was the first time Minhaaj lost a comrade all because of his negligence.

No! No! No! No! No! Arzu don't leave me. Stay with me. Don't leave. Izza cried loudly.

From Izza screaming Umar could tell that he lost another honorable comrade. A tear crossed the boundary of his eyes too but he wiped it immediately.

Minhaaj also wanted to cry his heart out but now was not the right time. He can't lose Ali either. He closed Arzu's eyes and make Izza to stood up.

Izza get yourself together we have to save Ali. If you can't handle yourself over a mere death then give the resignation after this mission. We don't need a loser like you.

Minhaaj uttered such harsh words in such a cold tone that Izza slapped him so hard.

Arzu just died on his behalf and here he was not feeling anything for her.

Umar yelled as Ali got into cardiac arrest. Minhaaj ran back to their car. Umar was pumping his heart and was giving him CPR.  After doing it for ten minutes Ali's pulse was back.

Looking at his squad in this situation Minhaaj finally spoke up as a lieutenant and the head of his group.

Umar we don't have any time to waste. Go get the tools from the car. We are going to do the operation here. Izza blood matches with him right. Go get her. We can't delay it anymore.

Minhaaj ordered and Umar just rushed out of the car. Izza was still sitting in that stance while taking Arzu's cold hand in her embrace.

Umar took the equipment and called Izza out but she was not listening. Umar gave Minhaaj the tools. He and Minhaaj took Ali out of the car and put him on the stretcher which they usually put for emergency cases.

Minhaaj begins operating on Ali as they have to stop bleeding because he was bleeding for 2 hours straight.

If the bullet stays more in his body they didn't know he might never be able to use his hand again.
