Chap 31 Characterless Girl

Mah Laaj! Mah Laaj! Someone get me water! Minhaaj cried out loud.

Hearing the screaming of Minhaaj, Umar rushed there. Izza was standing still and staring at the room with horror expressions.

Izza what-

His mouth stopped right there. Mah Laaj was lying down there unconsciously and Minhaaj was in his vulnerable state.

He forgot everything and was patting Mah Laaj's face in utter shock and was mumbling her name.

There was blood coming out of her forehead and her lip was bruised too.

Umar had to step in. He checked her pulse immediately. It was running slow but steady.

Black dog! Come into your senses. She is alive! Umar shooked him up.

Minhaaj gaped at him like he was an angel sent by Allah.

She is alive. Trust me. Just put her down slowly. She is just unconscious because of chloroform. Umar uttered each word slowly and put stress on it.

Minhaaj hugged her tightly like a baby who was always scared that his beloved toy would be snatched away.

Izza came back into her senses when Saad and Ali came down after hearing the yelling of Minhaaj.

Lilly is everything alright? Ali shouted and ran as fast as he can towards her.

Izza suddenly remembered everything that had happen to Arzu. She was trembling in fear. Without wasting time, she just scurried away from the scene without listening to anyone.

Ali went after her while Saad stayed as he know that they needed him more there.

Umar after struggling a lot made Minhaaj let Mah Laaj go. Saad checked her from head to toe. There were signs of struggling and fighting back. Her clothes were torn too but nothing was sure. She hit her head with the furniture while struggling and that's why she was unconscious. As Saad was a doctor before joining the force, his conclusion was partially correct.

Minhaaj got stables till then. Although he showed the soft side of his but not anymore.
Minhaaj stood up and went outside with Umar to discuss regarding Mah Laaj.

Look Umar we can't let Mah Laaj be seen by the backup team. She would become an important piece of information for them and I don't want that. You take her out from here discreetly and I'll handle the rest. Minhaaj gave him an order but that voice was shaky.

Umar just nodded because he knew what would happen to Mah Laaj if she was found here. They took her out and Minhaaj kept searching. He couldn't find anything in that dungeon with fuelled his wrath.

Damn it. He punched the wall in outrage.

I swear you will beg for mercy Dildar Khan. Minhaaj took the chair and threw it away.

His anger was burning himself. One thing he ever asked from Allah was to protect his loved ones but nothing was going his way. He forgot that "HE IS THE BEST OF PLANNER".

After keeping his emotions in control Minhaaj came up to see the situation.

Make sure that bastard won't get out of the country. Alert me asap if you find any traces of him. We have to arrest him now or else y'all ready to give your badges back. He ordered ruthlessly all the teams which were working under him.

Everyone went back. Mah Laaj was taken to the hospital afterward. From the tearing of her clothes, the case looked like kidnapping and rape.

Minhaaj was restlessly walking in front of the door of the room. The doctor came out asking about doing the deep inspection after Saad told her the situation and used his army card not to inform the police. Everyone glanced towards Minhaaj.
