Chambord Palace - Chambord, France

The palace became noiseless, a defeaning silence that never been a normal stint in its premises, just as the whiteness and emptiness of space, the quietness grows deeper as you can hear your own steady rhythm from within. Each day passing by, people of Chambord were getting their hopes down as to when will it be the safe, secure and problem free place as it is before. Each day passes by just the same. Nothing to arise the energy and excitement in oneself. Part of it is a pain, yet one can endure, one can sleep through night after night without the anaesthesia of false hope.

Silence.

Fear.

Vexation.

On a queen size bed, inside of one of the hidden rooms in the palace, is Queen Victoria laying. The sun is sneaking from the window on her left side, she heard footsteps coming in and needless to look to know who it was. "Here, take this." her father said as he sat on the side of her bed. He assisted her as she sat up and she drank a dose of metoprolol. "Thank you father. Why don't you take a rest as well? I can manage to -" she said but was cut by her father "I'm good honey. Don't think about me." he said smiling. Seconds passed and he is intently looking at his daughter. "Qué es Papa (What is it Dad)?" Victoria asked, conferring her eyes on him in equal seriousness.

It took him seconds before answering.

"¿No tienes realmente plan para decirle esto? (Don't you really have a plan to tell her this?)" she can sense full concern in his tone. She turned away, "Es mejor asi. (It's better this way.)" she said and sighed.

Francisco remained silent since he doesn't want to argue. He's all his daughter has now and he will agree on her terms as long as it does no harm to her. He arched both of his brows as he inhaled and sighed. "Lo entiendo muy bien. (I understand it very well.)" he simply replied and tapped her arm twice before he took his way out.

Lo siento papa. Tanto como quiero decirle, su seguridad es mi prioridad. (I'm sorry dad. As much as I want to tell her, their safety is my priority.)

Victoria thought while staring at the closed door.

Muhlach's Residence

Early in the morning when Lea woke up, she searched for her phone to check on her son. And as she expected, he's getting ready for school, since he has a class to catch at eight o'clock. She gave him few reminders before hanging up. Next thing, she tried to call her mother's private line but it was unattended. She tried again yet to no avail. She tried her grandfather's line instead afterwards, then again, and again, but wasn't able to get a chance. She started to feel uneasy when no one was answering her calls. She closed her eyes tight and breathed in and out several times as anxiety prowled over her body. Though she doesn't want to think worse, she can't help but to actually feel it given the situation they are in.

It's been weeks since her last talk with her grandfather and it wasn't a good one. She was told to keep a close watch over her son, and by that he meant, them. It may no longer safe here, her initial thought was. But, what could she do? She has no one in this country to seek aid from...

Aga.

Aga?

She sighed upon remembering how he acted earless whenever the circumstance take a chance to bring up something that will involve her son on their conversation. It was as if, he doesn't want to talk about him, that atleast she felt. But she understood it perfectly. Who would want to talk about something or someone that might be a fruit of someone's infidelity.
