The following day didn't go as planned as it has been raining on and off. They have planned to set a picnic under the palm trees on a sand blanket and try surfing. Hope never tried surfing before and her excitement went down immediately upon waking up earlier. Aga decided to spent the day binge-watching movies on netflix from the flat screen tv mounted on the wall of the sitting area with the girls.
This was never Aga and Hope's way to kill the time even at home when he is not in the office. Hope precisely preferred to stay indoor all the time. Today is kind of unusual for her father, the weather is gloomy and cold and that apparently she considers the good time to watch movies, she's not really into watching but she doesn't have much of a choice right now. She finds the first movie interesting though as the story was about how a widowed father of four girls faced all the crises when his career was put on tank. It's actually the first time they have done it together and it's not that bad. What else you can do in this type of weather anyway?
Aga was sitting in the middle, on his right is Hope while Lea on the other side. Snacks are on the table and they were all on their pajamas, they didn't mind to change yet since the rain has been pouring hard before they even got up, a typical lazy morning it is. The weather is cold and so Hope has her mini comforter on her lap.
They had their lunch delivered inside their room. It's a combination of greek and spanish dish this time, no shrimps included therefore no one is picking out one from the other's plate. They had cleaned up themselves near the evening, an hour right before their dinner was delivered.
"So what's next?" Aga sounds casual as he looked at them on each side later that evening. Lea shrugged her shoulders, she's not really into movies so might as well let them choose anything they prefer or feel like watching. Hope on the other hand took the remote control and browse at home on 'trending now'.
"Clueless?" Aga asked and Hope just smiled.
"Seriously Lianne?" he stared blank at her and she laughed. He thought that movie is not suitable for him.
Lea doesn't mind though.
"What about Elite?" she asked and clicked the series already.
"Nope, not for you." Aga answered while shaking his head and motioned her to browse more.
"Money Heist." she suggested again.
"Too political. Not interested."
Hope frowned and glanced once at her father and back to browsing."Let's try that one." Aga stopped her and pointed the series.
"This one?" she asked and clicked it when her father nodded.
"Lucifer?" Lea muttered the title of the series, she mentally grimaced at the cover photo.
"Dad! You didn't allow me to watch Elite so why Lucifer? Isn't that rated x too? I mean he is Satan! Well not to mention that guy deserves a pacifier for too much cursing." Hope objected.
"And how did you know that?" Aga asked suspiciously. Lea was just staring at them. Her daughter is right, is he really serious watching that with their minor daughter? It's inapproriate! Her mind was protesting inside. Hope was caught off guard by her father's question. She looked at him then shortly to Lea.
"I-I just saw its trailer somewhere... before." Aga kept his eyes on her.
"Dad naman eh. Let's watch another one."
"No. Lucifer is final."
"Ehh?" it's weird, Hope thought.
"Who says you're watching too? It's just me and your mom." Aga said and grabbed the remote from her and she was stunned.
