Tommy POV:

After about an hour of talking and getting to know each other better, y/n was passed out on the bed. She looked peaceful so I wasn't going to move her.

Instead I placed a blanket over her and grabbed a pillow to sleep on the floor with.

It wasn't the most comfortable thing to sleep on the hardwood floor, but I wasn't about to put y/n in the uncomfortable position of sleeping in the same bed as her best friends brother.

Even if she was okay with it, I probably wouldn't sleep super well anyways.

I placed the pillow on the ground and grabbed a blanket, then drifted off to a light sleep.

Your POV:

"Y/N! TOMMY! I'm leaving soon get down here!!" Aubree shouted from downstairs.

Oh yeah, in all the excitement I had completely forgotten the whole reason I had this party. Aubree was moving to America to study for culinary arts. She was leaving me to become a dumb chef.

Don't get me wrong I was incredibly happy for her to pursue her dreams, but she is going to be a whole ocean away for 2 years. Who am I supposed to hang out with all the time. I would hang with rys and Simon, but they were more of Aubrees friends than mine. Plus I am not really interested in 3rd wheeling.

I could always hang out with dylan, but they are one of the most popular kids in school, and they have a lot of others that they would rather be talking to. Again, they were more friends with Aubree than me.

That left Tommy. Honestly, I would like to hang out with him, but we didn't really start talking to each other a lot until about a year ago.

I just didn't have that close of a bond with him.

Sure our families were really close, but I had always just kind of forgotten about him, due to Aubree being the person I talked to.

Maybe it was time to change that.

"GUYS, get down here NOW!" Aubree shouted once more.

"Alright we're coming" I yelled back and hopped out of bed.

"Oi, tomathy. Get up." I said kicking his side. He groaned and reluctantly got up yawning with dark bags under his eyes.

"Why so earlyyyy" Tommy said as we met up with the others downstairs.

"Tom it's 11:30." Simon said laughing.

"Well it's too early for me." Tommy snapped back at him.

Aubree came around the corner with her bags and her cell phone In hand. She looked tired, but excited at the same time.

"Promise you'll text me every day?" I asked eagerly. Already missing my best friend.

"Of course y/n. I'm going to miss you so much." She said as tears welled in both our eyes. I hugged her for a few seconds then let go so she could get a goodbye from everyone else. Afterwards she slowly walked to her Uber, and drove to the airport.

The others went home, and that left me and Tommy alone.

"I can't believe she is gone." I was really crying now. Tommy pulled me into a comforting hug.

"Hey don't worry about it, you have superior twin right here." He said and I chuckled.

"You are such an idiot" I whispered pulling away and wiping my tears away.

I gathered my things and made my way home, which was only a few houses over. One of the the perks of having a best friend that lived close was that I didn't have to drive just to get to their house.
