Chapter VI

You woke up in a soft bed, instantly recognizable as his. he wasn't in the room, but you could tell from the sheets that he had slept next to you on the bed.

You pictured that in your head, and you didn't feel uncomfortable or gross. It felt right, and it felt safe. Picturing what happened last night made you happy, but you longed for his touch now that he was gone.

Pacing down the stairs you hear Tommy speaking to his mom.

"She said she would?!" You heard an excited Tommy shout.

"Yes, so you best thank her. You don't find ones like her more than once in every thousand years." She said making you smile. It was heartwarming to know she thought of you that way.

"Trust me mum. I know how special she is." Tommy said causing you to lean forward and accidentally trip down the remaining steps. Typical y/n.

Tommy rushed over and helped you to your feet, you were laughing.

"Are you alright?" He asked looking at you.

"Hey don't worry about it I just tripped, I've done a lot worse." You said with a smile. Immediately you were wrapped in a hug by him.

"Thank you for agreeing to go with me. You have no idea how much this means. Plus, my favorite person gets to go with me now." He said smiling and leading you into the kitchen to get some breakfast.

Your face was dusted pink after the last comment but you blew it off and told him it was really no but deal.

He explained that the two of you would be picked up by Wilbur and the others in about a month. At this point you were getting excited.

Biting into a waffle you asked him, "so, who all is going?"

"Well, it's going to be me, you, Toby, Wilbur, Niki, sapnap, George, and dream." He said counting on his fingers to make sure he didn't forget any.

"Did you say...dream? It feels so illegal to even think about seeing his face." You said eyes wide.

Tommy immediately pulled out his phone and showed you a picture of a blond haired, attractive man smiling.

"Who....oh my god Tommy. You did not just show me a picture of dream." You choked out between sips of apple juice. At this point it was actually happening, no going back now.

"Yeah that's him alright" he said smiling an egotistical smile, "and he didn't want me to show anyone this either."

"SO WHY DID YOU SHOW ME" you yelled, punching his arm.

"Because you have leverage now" he said perfectly calm.

The two of you finished talking about the details of the trip and you walked home.

So much happened in the last 24 hours it seemed unreal. First you get to go on a trip, then Tommy says you were his favorite person, then you saw dreams face reveal.

Everything was going so perfect. Life was good, and you finally felt prepared for anything.

Then you walked into the house.
