"That was my friend Tommy," you smiled at his name. This caused Carson to raise his eyebrow at you.

"Are you sure he is just your friend?" He asked nudging you.

"Haha yes I am sure. We are just best friends!" You hummed in response.

"But do you want to be more than that?" He continued to question.

"Well, I mean he is super caring, and I wouldn't be here without him... I don't know why I'm even telling you this. I literally just met you."

"Well, it sounds to me like this Tommy guy is a very lucky dude." Carson said.

The two of you talked about random things for a few more hours, and you had gotten to know each other pretty well.

"So you're telling me..." you wheezed, "he fell off the ski lift on purpose" you couldn't contain your laughter as you fell onto his shoulder.

He had told a story about his friend and now the two of you couldn't stop laughing. His laugh was just so contagious.

He pulled you off his shoulder looked you dead in the eyes and said, "and then he pulled me off with him"

This caused the two of you to laugh even harder than before. You almost fell on the ground with how hard you were laughing.

Eventually you guys stopped laughing and moved onto another subject.

A few minutes later you heard a knock at your door, you stood up and opened it to see Tommy.

He engulfed you in a hug, and you squeezed him tightly. It was like you couldn't get close enough to him, and you realized how much you missed him.

After a few seconds he pulled back slightly and grabbed your chin up to look at him. He looked at your dark shaded eye with a sad look.

"Does it hurt anymore?" Tommy said letting go of you and your face.

"Not really, we iced it for a while and now it barely hurts." You hummed.

You walked back to your bed and sat down, as you did that Carson walked to the door and asked Tommy to speak with him in the hall.

You weren't sure what that was about, but you decided to ignore it.

They were two of the funniest, and most caring people you knew so you trusted them to do whatever they were doing.

Tommy POV: (from right after the call)

I hung up as dream started to blast blitz. He zoomed down the hill by you and then the music faded in the distance.

This was followed by sapnap blaring sweater weather. And then eventually George blasting that's what I like.

At the song all faces in your group turned to me and I screamed and skied down the hill as fast as I could.

As I went down my thoughts wandered to y/n. I was worried about her, but who was the guy she was with. I mean, they just met today, what If he is like a murderer or wants to do something bad to her.

I didn't want to even think about that.

Best case scenario he is a great guy....but then what if y/n ends up liking him. What if she leaves me.

This is crazy. We aren't even dating why would this matter so much to me.

I couldn't help myself as my mind wandered to what he may look like, was he attractive? She seemed to be happy that he was there.

I sighed and focused on the slope in front of me.

After we finished the ski, I immediately went back and changed so I could see y/n. As I was about to knock, hard laughing could be heard from the room. It was y/n's laugh and some other guy. This must be the one that she ran into.

I waited a minute before actually knocking. Why was I so nervous to see her.

When she opened the door I was met with a black eye. I hugged her and I didn't want to ever let go, but I did so that her face could be in my view again.

I asked her if it hurt, and she said it didn't because she iced it. I was still a little skeptical about he, but. I decided to let it go because I trusted her judgement.

The boy that was sitting on her bed got up and walked towards me, then asked if I could talk to him in the hall.

He was a few inches taller than me, and had an attractive face. Exactly the type of guy y/n would go for.

Immediately I was self conscious, but I pushed that down as he pulled me around the corner.

"Hey, I'm Carson" he said as he looked at me.

"Um hello, I'm Tommy" I said uncertainly.

Carson chuckled, "yeah I know."

"How did you-" I started to ask.

He cut me off by saying, "I just wanted to tell you that I think you are a very lucky man. And that if you ever break her heart I will find you. Got it."

"I-um. You know we aren't like, a thing right..." I scratched the back of my neck and looked at the ground. There was only one person he could have been talking about, and that was y/n.

"How much do you care about her Tommy." Carson said confidently.

"Well... I would do anything for her." I said.

"There we go, now we're getting somewhere. Y/n is one of the best girls I think I have ever met, and she deserves the world."

"Trust me. I want to give her the world and more. I live for her." I said truthfully, feeling like I could actually talk to this guy.

"Good, that's what I like to hear. Here is my phone number, now text me when you confess to her alright." He said handing me a slip of paper.

"I don't know if that is going to happen, but okay." I said taking the paper and stuffing it in my pocket.

"Well, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you tommy. But your girl is waiting for you, you better get back to her." He smiled and stuck out his hand for a handshake, and I accepted it.

Carson said a quick goodbye to y/n and left to go to his room.

I had only met this guy a few minutes ago, but I felt like I could trust him with my life story.

I was glad to have met him, and all my worries about him and y/n were gone.

I walked back in the room and saw a bright smile from y/n.

"So wanna catch up while we watch a movie?"
