Chapter XV

The next day you had to wake up early. You didn't want to leave your warm bed, but you had too.

The next place on the list was pretty much the complete opposite of where you were now...the mountains.

You sat outside looking at the ocean while you waited for the rest of the gang to get their stuff a packed up. You soaked in the fresh sea breeze for as long as you could, then walked back to your seat in the car. Tommy was already in there but he was asleep, so you decided to talk to tubbo as the others filed in one by one.

"So what do you think is going to be your favorite place we go to?" You asked him.

"Hmm I am really excited for the day trip that I planned!" He said getting visibly excited.

"Oh yeah? Where is it that we are going?" You questioned. "It sounds like it'll be fun!"

"Well I can't tell you that y/n, it's a surprise. But I think you will like it!" He said grinning.

"I can't wait" you said popping in your AirPods and closing your eyes.

Ever since last night you felt even more close to Tommy. If that was possible. But just remembering what he said made your heart go brrr.

Of course the first song to play on your AirPods was The Promise.

You added it to your playlist this morning because it reminded you of him. You knew he only thought of you as a best friend, but you couldn't help but imagine a life where he thought more.

Since he was asleep you decided to take advantage of it, and you opened your animation app.

You weren't the best but it was really fun and relaxing for you to animate frame by frame, resulting in a moving video.

You had never shown any of the others, but you had a tiktok account dedicated to animations of random people on the dream smp. It gave you a sense of accomplishment. One that you didn't get many other places in your life.

Anyways, you carefully traced the lines on your phone, and after about an hour you fell asleep.

When you woke up you were pressed close against Tommy, and his hands were wrapped around you. You had no idea how you got in this position, but you were okay with it.

After a second of waking up, you realized Tommy was pushing you away from him. It was like he didn't want you to be by him.

You couldn't help but feel sad as he scooted further away from you and turned away.

"Did I do something?" You whispered to him, and he didn't respond. Sapnap was glaring at Tommy from the seat in front of you, then he turned back around.

Tommy was just ignoring you. What could you have done? Tears welled in your eyes and you didn't know why. Maybe it was because he was cutting you off from him without even telling you why.

"Tommy?" You tried saying one more time, but he had already put in his headphones and was pressed as far away from you as he could be.

You closed your eyes and tried to focus on the music playing. Currently you were listening to hayloft. It wasn't cutting it however. And you couldn't stop thinking of Tommy. You could have been asleep next to him right now.

He could have been playing with your hair or humming a song from under you. But noooo, Tommy was acting super weird. Maybe he hated you...

You decided to try and sleep, but you were too cold, so you moved closer to Toby for warmth.

Tommy POV: (when y/n is still asleep on Tommy)

I looked down to see a notification on my phone from sapnap.
