chapter 3 ultrasound

Narrator point of view

Grace said sharkboy. Sharkboy said yeah baby. Grace said what time is it. Sharkboy said it's 3:30. Grace said groaning we have to be in 10 minutes. Sharkboy said right I forgot about the ultrasound.  Grace said do I have to go. Sharkboy said you have to go there not doing the ultrasound on my stomach. Grace said after change in clothes not pj's sharkboy said taking Grace's hand you know if we go we can do a revile and know if the baby a boy or a girl. Grace said I actually want to wait until the baby is born to know what it is. Sharkboy said how about this I ask the doctor what it is and tell you don't want to know. Grace said as they went into the office I guess that can work or maybe we just do the revile I really want to rub it in when they tell us it a girl. Sharkboy said I really want to rub it in when it's a boy or girl you won't know until they ask us. The lady at the desk said okay we have your appointment but you're early so go sit in the waiting room until they call your name. Grace said okay. They sit in the waiting room for about 5 minutes and the calls for them. The doctor said ok Grace you ready for r your ultrasound. Grace said actually I'm scared this is my time having an ultrasound and first time being pregnant. The doctor said okay Grace just lay back in this chair and I'm gonna put this geal tube on your stomach and she does and said okay now there's gonna be another doctor in here just for a little bit to get the ultrasound ready. Grace said I never caught your name. The doctor said I'm Skylar. Grace said that's actually really nice name we should put that in as a  suggestion. Sharkboy sharkboy said I still think it's a boy and can't wait to rub it in. Grace said I still think it's a girl and can't wait to rub it in when I'm right. Sky said the other doctor will be in here soon. Grace said okay how far along am I skylay said I don't know. Then the teco guy came in and set up the ultrasound and said she's all ready for the ultrasound. Skylar said thank you. Grace said just think sharkboy in just a few minutes were gonna make a first. Sharkboy said and what would that be. Grace said first time hearing our baby heartbeat and first time getting to see the baby. Sharkboy said taking her hand you ready. Grace said yeah. Skylar said as she started the ultrasound. Grace said awww. Skylar said okay so the next part is getting to hear your baby's heartbeat then we have questions then your ultrasound is over.

3 minutes later

They just heard the baby's heartbeat. Skylar said there's some questions I have to ask before you leave. Grace said okay shoot. Skylar said question 1 of 2 do you know how far along you are. Grace said actually we don't. Skylar said question 2 would you want to do a revile. Sharkboy said actually I think we should wait by still keep the bet. Grace said yeah. Skylar said so you're waiting to know. Grace yeah. Skylar said we'll see you again next month.

They go back to sharkboy's cave to be continued in next chapter.
