Chapter 15: Back to the Past

Today was the day that Ven came back to study here. She was clinging to me all day, I can't wait until lunch when she finally sees Dani. She'll be very excited to see her.

"So Will, whom do you eat lunch with?" Ven asked me. We just came from the office to get her schedule and other things.

"I sit with Gordon." I said. I heard her mutter "Gordon" in a bitter tone. Ven and Gordon don't really have a good past, they would bicker a lot and would prank each other on a daily basis. I dot know why they are on bad terms but, no is in good terms with Gordon.

"I also sit with... Danica..." She stopped walking and looked at me with shock.

"What? You know Dani? Danica? Joyce?"

"Uh yeah, we met during summer. When me and Zac moved back in..."

"Oh my God, this is freaking great!!" She exclaimed and started to jump up and down. "I can't believe I have a friend who's friends with you! This awesome!"

"Okay calm down. People are looking at you..." I said as I tried to calm her down.

"Sorry..." Ven giggled. "So, where is she?"

"Uh who?"

"Dani! Where is she?..."

"You'll get to see her during lunch." I say as I head to class and say bye to Ven.

I was going to our lunch table when I saw Dani, she still had that look from last night. She had a pretty, and shy smile. She was laughing at something a girl said to her. Her eyes twinkled as she laughed, her head thrown back while laughing. I walk closer to our table that Ven was already seated beside her. They were talking and laughing. I quickly sat down beside Gordon and he looked up and seemed to be relieved to see me.

"Will..." He breathed. "Make them stop..." He pleaded. I just rolled my eyes and turned to Ven.

"Oh hey Will!" Ven said. "Look who I found. Dani!" She pointed to Dani, Dani waved at me. I just shyly smiled and looked down...

Ven was looking back at me and Dani, me and Dani. "Ookkaaayy... What the heck is going on? Why are you two looking at each other like that?" She looked at us strangely, Dani tried to hide her laughter by covering her mouth. I laughed a little by just looking at her. Ven continued looking at us like we're insane.

Ven just puffed her cheeks and shook her head slowly. "Okay, you guys are turning insane..."

Danica

I finally "reunited" with my best friend Ven. She came here yesterday and now she's here sitting with us. I saw Rosemary walk over here. She's still hanging out with me and sitting with us during lunch. She may still be head cheerleader but she vowed that she's never going back to the "dark side".

"Hi Dani." She said as she sat down. "And... hi Ven! It's so nice to see you!" Rosemary awkwardly chuckled, Ven moved closer to me and whispered into my ear...

"What is she doing here? I thought she's just like one of those brainless bar--"

"I can hear you, you know?" Rosemary interrupted her. "And not all of us are brainless Barbies."

"Okay Ven, I get that I left you and Dani for those bimbos but, I changed this time. I realized their mean ways and I promise that I'm not like them." Rosemary explained.

"Really? Can I really trust, huh?" Ven asked. Rosemary just nodded and Ven clasped her hands together. "Great! Now can you explain why my brother and Dani are acting so weird?"

I turned to Rosemary and shook my head. Don't you dare... And she tuned to me and raised and eyebrow.

"Well... I have no idea what's going on with them too." She glanced at me and placed her chin on her palm and tapped her fingers on the table. "Care to tell us Dani?" They were now both smirking at me waiting for an answer. I just sighed and forced a smile.

"Fine I'll tell you guys..." they perked up ashen I said it. "But not now, there are guys here..." I said poor in to Will and Gordon. They don't seems to be listening to our conversation but seem to have one of their own. Will glances up from his conversation with Gordon and gave a sly smile and went back to talking with him. I then remembered the kiss, or kisses. I couldn't sleep that night, all I had in my mind was how soft they were when they were tracked to mine. But I guess I won't be feeling them sooner or later. The thought of that made my heart drop...

"So let me get this straight..." Ven said as the three of us headed for class. It turns out we have a class where the three of is are in. Which is great. "Gordon has a crush on Rosemary? That's so weird! Gordon is... Gordon. And you are like on of the pretties girls here Rose, he likes you and you like him back?" Ven exclaimed.

Rosemary chuckled and bobbed her head. "Yes, jut a bit. He's actually very sweet you know? He sends me these notes and letters everyday reminding me that I'm pretty or asking me if I want to hang-out or whatever. I started receiving them on the first day of school and it just continued. It was written anonymously at first but later he admitted that it was him..."

"Aww..." Ven reacted to Rosemary's story, I didn't know about this... I guess they kept it a secret. I guess it's fair since I didn't tell Rosemary about Will and I  either. "How about you Dani? What's going on with you and my brother huh?" Ven asked me and Rosemary kept on telling me to tell.

"Okay, I'll tell you guys." I said as they shushed each other. "Don't freak out Ven since he's your brother and all..." I took a deep breath and shakes my hands. "Okay, I like Will." They both squealed and gasped. They look at each other in shock and were saying stuff like "really?!" Or "oh my gosh!" 

"Yeah yeah, it turns out he actually likes me back. I also find it quite weird though..."

"Why?"

"Well, he's our brother Ven. You don't mind?"

"Yeah, I don't mind. As long as it's not Zac or something, he's such a pain in the ass..." We all laughed at her comment. Rosemary then jumped in front of us and had this pumped expression on her face.

"Okay, why don't you tell us more when we have a sleepover at my place tonight?" She asked us and we both nodded our heads.

"Like old times?" Ven asked.

"Yeah, like old times..." Rosemary said as we both walked into class. I forgot the feeling of having friends by my side.  It's a nice feeling...
