Chapter 28: You, Beautiful You

I never thought that I could run to my house that fast. I went in and was planning to crash on my bed. I wa walking by Ven's room and I could hear mumbles coming from inside. I could tell it was Dani's voice. I think they're talking about me... Great, it's not good if you're the topic of a girl talk...
"Dani, why do you like my brother?" I could hear my sister ask her.
"Well first, I'm really fascinated about his intelligence and his witts. He may be dorky but, I find that about him adorable. I also find him cute and funny and confident and brave. Well, most of the time he's brave." I heard my sister laugh. I don't blame myself that I'm scared or not that brave most of the time. Especially when you have a sister in the crowd and is there not to support you but to taunt and embarrass you. I could her a big sigh coming from Dani.
"Most of all, he understands me. He doesn't mind my idiosyncrasies and the way I tend to smile like crazy at the littlest of things. I can't believe that he's able to handle someone like me..." I never thought of that that way. I liked the way she smiled. The way she laughed. The way she acted. I liked everything about her.
"So, what are you saying Dani?"  My sister said to her. I went nearer to the door to understand better.
"I'm saying that, I'm in love with him Ven." I just sat down by Ven's door. Dani. Danica Joyce is in love with me. I stood up and I was going to tell Dani how I feel about her. I feel bad about eavesdropping. I was about to knock when Ven opened the door. We almost knocked our heads together.
"Whoah! Hey Will.." My sister greeted.
"Uh, hey." I awkwardly looked down.
"Uh, Dani is in my room..." She pointed at the back. "Wanna talk to her? She has things to say to you..." She smiled.
"Okay..?" I stepped back.
"Okay. I'll tell her to meet you at your room." She nodded and went in her room. I slowly went into my room with my hands in my pockets, I have a lot of things going through my mind right now. I don't know why but Dani has got me thinking.

Danica

I was in front of Will's room. I was about to knock when he opened the door.
"Hi..." He said in a quiet like manner.
"Hi..." He let me in.
"So you wanted to talk to me?" He sat down on his desk chair.
"Yeah, Ven told me that I should say something about--"
"Yeah, I know..." He interrupted me.
"Know about what?" He stood up and stood in front of me.
"The things you like about me..." I just looked down on the floor trying to avoid his cold glare.
"Okay... Then why are you looking at me like that?" I stepped back from him.
"What? Oh, it's just that I'm kind of confused." He ruffled his hair. Oh yeah, I also like the way he awkwardly touches his hair...
"Confused? Why?" He sat down on his chair again and sighed.
"I don't know too..." I sat down on his bed and just looked at him. "Maybe I find it wrong for someone like you to love someone like me..."  I don't know why he's saying this.
"Why do you find it wrong William?" I went to stand beside him.
"Well, one you're too beautiful for me and two I'm nothing like you." he turned to me. "I always adored you. I adored that you looked flawless on the outside but also I adored you in the inside. I don't care if people say you are odd or weird, that's what makes me like you." He stood up and went closer to me. I could feel that my insides were churning and my heart beating fast. "I love you Dani. I know you know but I just can't help but tell you that I. Love you..." We were just looking at each other. I just closed the tension between us and kissed him. I couldn't be happier than this.
