Dinner with Will's mom turned out great. She and I talked about school, where I want to go to college, and my plan for the rest of the school year. William stayed quiet for the rest of the dinner, I don't blame him though. I felt the same way, flustered and weird. After that, Mrs. Henderson insisted that Will walked me home. I kept on saying it was okay but here we are now. Walking home at night. We were walking slow and stayed quiet for the rest of the wall. Until I broke the eerie silence by clearing my throat...
"Thanks for having me tonight. Your mom is really..." I say trying to find the perfect word. "Quirky? Full of life?" Something like that..."
We both just laughed and continued walking. He still looked tipsy, he wasn't clumsy but he was blushing a lot. I'm not sure if I was blushing, all I know is that I'm feeling tipsy as well.
"Sorry to ask this all of a sudden but, why did you do that?" He blurted out. I think il blushing this time, I lowered my head down and shrugged.
"I thought that it would help you forget that thing about your dad or whatever... I'm sorry if I did that, it was stupid for me to think that..."
"Don't be..." He smiled at me, I swear I'm as red as a red velvet cupcake. We continued walking. The hushed silence seemed to be comforting now. Not for long since I opened my mouth...
"Anyways, thanks again. Is be happy to come back soon."
"Great!" He said enthusiastically. "Because guess what? My sisters coming back soon. I guess my mom forgot to tell you..."
"What? Really? Ven's coming back?" I asked excitedly. "Why hasn't she called me about it? Maybe she wanted to surprise me, maybe she wanted to make a dramatic entrance when she came back or something... What if she..." Will was chuckling at me. I just looked at him as if he were crazy. "What are you laughing at?"
"Nothing..." He continued laughing. "It's just that you seem like a person Ven hangs out with. Out-going just like her."
"Is that bad or..."
"No. It's a good thing. I'm glad my sister is hanging out with someone... cool." He looks down at me and grins. We cross the street and arrive at my house.
"So, I guess I'll see you at school." Will said as we step on my front porch.
"Yeah, see you." I walked to my door when he put his hand on my shoulder making me turn around. I was against the door looking up at him, he was looking at me intently in the eyes. He had both his hands on my shoulders. He was slowly putting his face closer to mine. His lips then found it's way and kissed me, not on the lips but near my lips. It felt quick and sweet. He took a step back and just grinned at me.
"That's for earlier. Thanks, I guess..." Will said. He then waved at me and walked away from my porch. I unlocked the door and closed it shut and just melt there. I felt happy and confound, but mostly happy about the fact that he kissed me this time.
William
The next morning, I woke up with a smile on my face and a jolly attitude. Like those kinds of guys in those movies where they open their window and greet the world with joy. But I didn't do that because it might piss the neighbors off. I just get ready for school and skip down the stairs. I greet my mother good morning and I noticed that my brother was nowhere in sight, today's going to be a great day. I was about to eat the breakfast my mom prepared me when I spot another plate of eggs and bacon.
"Uh mom, whose is that? Zac is not ere and..." I looked at my mom and she was smiling so wide that the joker would get jealous. I then remembered, Ven. My sister Ven is here. Why I she here so early. I then heard a noise come from the living room. I heard some footsteps become louder and louder as they lead to the kitchen.
"Mom I can't find my..." I turn around and see my sister. She quickly smiled as she saw me. "Oh my gosh, it's nice to see you Willy!" She ran to me and gave me a big hug.
"Okay don't call me that Ven." I say as I move myself from the Ven's bear hug. "I missed you too."
She then went to sit down across me and eat her breakfast too. "So, you have class today Will?" Ven asked me.
"Yes. And I need to get going now." I place my plate in the sink. "When are you going to start school Ven?"
"Mom said I'm going tomorrow so you better be with me the whole time." She gave me a reassuring look and I just nodded.
"Yeah yeah, I will."
"Great!" She perked up and headed upstairs. "Bring me some cotton candy on the way home." She have me a thumbs up and rushed upstairs. I tried to tell her no but she was already gone. Great, having both my brother and twin sister is just going to cause more chaos...

"So your twin sister is here already?" Dani said as we went to our usual table. "Thats great. I didn't even know you guys were twins!"
"Yeah, I don't really being it up that much because I think it's so..."
"Weird. Since she's nicer than you?" Gordon mocked. "I mean, she doesn't even look like you! It's just so weird..."
"Well, I guess that's what we are. Weird." I said as I went on with lunch. Dani kept on asking Gordon about Rosemary but he tried to act as if he didn't know what she was talking about. Rosemary was not here because she had cheerleader practice so we can't observe what Gordon looks like when she's around...
"Did you ask her out yet? You know she's waiting for you to ask her."
"She is?!"
"Ha, no!" Dani laughed. "You're so gullible." Gordon just flipped her the finger and she did the same. I just let them bicker and think about things. Like how am I suppose to deal with my sister, how I'm going to ask Dani out again but this time to a different place... Speaking of Dani, I'm deciding whether not to tell Gordon about the kiss(es). But then again, he's Gordon. He's bound to make a joke put of it or tell the whole school. So maybe, that's a story to tell next time...
