Chapter 20: Not Our Style PART 2

Me and Gordon hung out after school. I know we were suppose to talk about the party thing but we ended up playing video games instead.
"So, about the party..." I said to Gordon.
"Oh yeah right..." He paused the game and put down his controller. "There's not really much things to talk about, except for what we'll wear and how we'll go there." I don't really have "fancy" clothing, except for polo's and slacks. I think I could settle for that.
"Clothing? Not a problem for me. The ride?.." Well, I do have my drivers license but I just don't have a car. If I ask Zac if I could borrow his car, he would want to tag along to the party. If I ask my mom and dad for their car, they would surely ask about Dani.
"Dude, I could just borrow my brothers old car. he doesn't use it that much anyways." Gordon said. "You could dried it as well I guess."
I stood up. "Great, then everything is working out I guess."
"Yeah, for you to impress Dani." I just rolled my eyes.
"Whatever, you're trying to impress Rosemary as well." I snorted back. He just stood up and went off.
"Dude, I'll see you tomorrow." He went out. Everything's good. I just need I ask Dani. I texted her, hoping she'll go.

Me:
Hey Dani...

I waited for a a few minutes before she finally replied.

Dani:
Hi Will.

Me:
Yeah, I was just wondering if u r going to Ally's party...

Dani:
Uh yeah. Me, Rosemary, and Ven are going.

Me:
Wait? Since when is Ven going???

I know that she may be all grown up but she can't go. Just think about all the things that could happen to her.

Dani:
Yeah, she been wanting to go to a party for a long time..

Me:
Okay whatever... So are you going?

Dani:
Yeah. I'd give it a chance even if I hate parties like this.

Me:
Okay. So I uh, was just wondering if you want to go with me...

Dani:
...

Dani:
Like a date?

Me:
Yeah, if u like... Well it's your choice. I also thought it would be the nice time because it's a party filled with people and they probably have dates and such...

It's been a minute, I'm worried that I creeped her out...

Dani:
Uh yeah sure that would be cool

Me:
Great, we will all meet each other at Gordon's place.

Dani:
Okay bye.

Me:
Bye.

Finally, everything is going smoothly.

After school, we all went to the mall to go look for our outfits. Ven showed is this cute vintage store. There are a lot of cool stuff there. We all settled for something. Rosemary got this really nice extravagant long black gown. Ven got a cute hot pink shift dress. I it something which I would wear again for any occasion. A quirky lavender chiffon dress. It has that heart shape cut and flared skirt which fits me good (Ven said of course.) We all bid our goodbyes and I went home. I was in my bedroom writing stuff in my journal when my phone suddenly buzzed. It was Will, he was asking me to be his "date" for the party. I was hesitant at first because me and Will don't really talk that much. I thought he didn't really like me anymore. But by the way he texts me (awkward and a lot of "...") it looks like he still likes me. I still like him. I think I'm just going to go with it. I agreed. I felt like I was on cloud 9 again, the feeling I always had when I was with Will.

I woke up feeling all groggy and weird. Am I forgetting something? Yeah I was, today is Ally's party. I checked my phone for any messages. There was one from Rosemary saying that I should meet them at her place with my dress so that we could get ready. I just shrugged and did my usual morning routine. Later in the afternoon,  I went over to Rosemary's house with my dress and shoes in my hands. Ven and Rosemary were talking and sitting on the couch. They were relieved that I was finally here. We all went to Rosemary's room. We did each others make-up and hair (May I correct that, they did my make-up because I can't tell what's the difference between eye brushes and mascara brushes) I decided to just curl my hair and let it down. I told them to just minimize my make-up. After a while we all were ready. We were dropped by Gordon's place by Rosemary's maid (oh yeah, she has that kind of rich but nice family). I feel queazy. I'm not sure if it's  because of wha William will think of me or maybe because of the lipstick that I used.
