Chapter 24: No More Torture...

Finally, today is the day. Schools ending. I'm excited about no homework, no jocks shoving you into your locker, and hanging out with Dani. It was already the last period. Everyone was eager to get out. I was too but I tried not to show it. Then the principal talked through the intercom. Probably saying something about "going to the next level in success".

"Good afternoon children, I would say a long speech about enjoying your summer but I'm just going I cut it short, enjoy our summer and don't do drugs." The bell suddenly rang and everyone rushed to the door of the school. I went out as well. People were pushing me as they was out. In the busy crowds, I saw Dani. She was just standing there, smiling when she saw me. Everything was suddenly slow, she was walking towards me. The crowds were moving bit by bit and she was there in front of me.

"Hi Will." She greeted me.

"Hey Dani."

"Rosemary said that we all should meet up at the diner. Let's go." She held my hand as we went out of the school. This is going to be an awesome summer.

"So, Ally wanted to talk to me but instead she wanted to comment about my new choice of friends..." Rosemary ratted about. We were in the same booth as last time. We were just talking about our plans for the summer. We were all going to hang out. We all pinky promised. I'm not sure if it sounds risky but they say it sounds cool.

"So, my parents are going to have a summer barbecue next week and they say I can invite my friends." Gordon said. "So, will you guys go?"

"Duh." Rosemary replied.

"Yeah sure. I'll go." I said as I went to the jukebox. (Who knew that the old jukeboxes in diners still worked?) I played this old song by Barbara Mason. I went back to sit down. I saw that Rosemary and Gordon looking at each other and laughing at whatever they said. I could actually see the love in Rosemary's eyes. Gordon too. Ha, I wonder if Ven likes somebody. But if he does, her brothers will freak out. I don't blame them. They really love their sister, which is sweet. I sat beside Will, they were laughing on about something.

"What'cha guys talkin' about?"

"Nothing, just about how you opened the door and Gordon falling over..." Ven giggled.

"Well Gordon, thats what you get you perv..." He flipped me the finger. I just doubled them.

"Anyways, I'm happy about this." Ven exclaimed.

"Happy about what?" I asked her.

"The fact that schools over and I get to hang out with you guys." She clapped out of excitement.

"We keep on talking about hanging out with each other, why don't we just do it!" Gordon exclaimed.

"Okay." Will shrugged. "What will we do?"

"Let's just go look for an adventure..." I said. We all rushed out and went where our wherever. Will put his arm around me, I'm glad he's with me on this adventure.
