William

It was already the second week of summer. Ven has already documented a lot of stuff using her Polaroid camera. She would post them in a "summer journal" and decorate them.  Usual girl stuff...  Dani said that we are going to meet in front of her house. I was there under 4 minutes. She was sitting on the curb. She looked so pretty even if she didn't brush her hair well. She was writing something in an old journal  which she seems to carry around everywhere.

"Hi Dani." I greeted her. She looked up  and smiled. She seemed to brighten uo my day even more.

"Hey Will." She got up brushing off the dirt from her dress. "Let's go?"

"Let's go where?" I asked her. She chuckled and nudged me on the arm.

"I'm willing to take the risk and get lost this summer, as long as I'm with you..." She laughed and we started to walk.

"Are you sure? That seems too risky..." She laughed and shook her head.

"I'm not being that serious. I'm just taking you to a place I like so much..." She skipped around.

"The park?"

"No silly, another place that I like so much..." She grabbed my hand and she ran. I couldn't help but just run with her as well.

I brought Will to one of my favorite places. The botanical garden. I would always go here with my grandma all the time when I was young. Now, I'm bringing Will along with me.

"A garden?' He wondered as he observed the place.

"What? You have never been here before?"

"No, it's just that I never really thought that you brought me to a place like this." He noticed the Wisteria roof on top of him. I could say that it was magical.

"It's beautiful...'"  He breathed. He turned to me and kissed me. "But not as beautiful as you." I couldn't help but smile like an idiot.

I invited Dani over to my house after the botanical garden.

"What will we do there?" She asked me on the bus the way to my house.

"I don't know..." I thought for a while. "Wanna watch a movie?"

"Sure." She laid her head on my shoulder. "What movie?'

"I don't know, let's just see for ourselves..."

"She's All That?" She exclaimed.

"What's wrong about it?" I said as I brought the popcorn from the kitchen.

"Nothing, it's just that it's a total 90's chick flick and for the fact that it was just standing on your shelf..." She chuckled slightly.

"Well, it's not mine. My mom thought it was a good idea to show this to Ven and teach her about what boys could do to her..." I explained.

"Hm... Did it work?" She asked me.

"Weirdly yes. She never wanted to interact  with any boy except for me and Zac." She just nodded and sat down.

"Where is your brother anyways?" She ate the popcorn that fell on her skirt.

"He's at this program for sports stuff." Wow, now I know that I never really cared on what my family talks about.

"Good." She said. "Let's start the movie."

"Okay." I then hit play.

"I thought it was relatable..."  We were fixing the things we used for our "Movie viewing". Dani was telling me about how the situation is similar to what happened to her.

"It was a trick and I should never trust a boy ever again..." She stated. "Except  for lovable nerds like you..." She hugged me from behind.  I turned around and hugged her as well.

"You were the same as before..." I said. She just looked up at me and tilted her head.

"Is that bad?"

"No, it's perfect..."
