Lydia POV
Why did we agree for them to keep the radios on so we could hear what was happening?
Hearing and feeling everything that was happening and know how close Stiles came to dying was breaking me to pieces that I was so far away from him. I felt my tears start to roll down my face as I heard Scott explain that he is calling my name.
I heard the announcement for Melissa to head to the lifts and I knew it would be for Stiles, as I stepped out the door and looked down the hall the doors of the lift swung open to reveal Scott, Derek, Sheriff, Rafael, Mitch and Thomas standing around a bed which showed Stiles who seemed to be sleeping.
As Melissa grabbed the bed along with the waiting Dr Geyer I noticed everyone else walking towards me, I run to meet them engulfing the group in a hug knowing this wouldn't have been easy for them to have witnessed.
I let them go allowing them to enter the Relatives room as once again we gathered waiting for news on Stiles. This was becoming to familiar of an occurrence, a pattern that I wish we can break ourselves out of before the worse happens.
"Chris, what have you managed to find on Janson's movements?" Thomas asks as he walks to where Chris was gathered with Mitch, Rafael, Stan, Parrish and Irene.
"Well based on what the ground team found and the drone footage we captured, we know he exited the forest by the same road that you tracked Stiles to, from what we can gather he was inside the truck that had attempted to run Stiles and Scott over." Chris explains and this causes a lot of chatter to erupt around the room.
"Wait are you actually saying that Janson saved him from the helicopter explosion to only try and run him over with a truck? Why would he do that?" Scott asks sounding very annoyed at the information we had just received.
"I don't know but I found something else, we managed to get some satellite images of the area from after the crash. It seems to show Janson pulling Stiles from the helicopter, the next one seems to have him kneeling directly over him. From the angle we don't know what he is doing." Chris finishes off explaining what he has found while showing the images.
"I think I may be able to provide you with the answer to that!" I hear Melissa speak making us all jump as we hadn't realise she had entered the room.
"How is he?" Sheriff asks rising from the seat he has been occupying since his arrival in the room, I intertwine my hand within Scott's to steady myself bracing for what I can only gather will be bad news.
"Confusing everyone with how he is still currently with us all! The injuries he has both from earlier and now should of killed him but yet he is still alive. He has a cracked skull, broken neck, broken cheek bone, dislocated shoulder, six broken ribs and endless number of cuts and bruises." Melissa starts explaining and my heart drops as she speaks.
"Now we also removed a piece of the helicopter from his arm and he also has a very deep cut on his head which is been repaired currently before we take him for further tests. Now in relation to what Janson did after he pulled him out of the helicopter, we found this imbedded in the wound near the helicopter part." Melissa advises as she pulls a small plastic bag out of her pocket and handed it over to Mitch who had stepped forward as she smoke.
"This is a tracking chip! That's why they allowed him to go, they are coming here. Melissa we need the hospital on full lockdown right now and Stiles needs transporting to a secure location." Mitch states loudly before hurrying out of the door with Melissa.
"Parrish, secure the perimeter and I want this floor secured. I want the next two blocks locked down for everyone expected approved emergency personnel until we say so." Sheriff orders before grabbing his radio and shouting orders into it.
THIS AN EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL – THIS HOSPITAL IS BEEN EVACTUATED PLEASE LEAVE VIA YOUR NEAREST EXIT – AMBULANCES ARE ON STAND BY TO TRANSPORT TO NEAREST HOSPTIAL.
I didn't know what to do, part of me wanted to run to Stiles but then I didn't know where he was so I stayed with Scott so we are least know what is happening. Irene, Stan and Chris were splitting their time between the computer screens, maps and the radio arranging the search and protection tasks for their respective agencies while Melissa and Derek leave the room.
"Thomas are you okay?" I turn and ask him, as I notice that he hasn't spoken since Melissa had showed everyone the chip.
"Yeah, just trying to process everything as somethings are still not making sense to me. Like he was hunting Stiles to get to me yet when he had the opportunity to take me he didn't and waited for Stiles to arrive instead." Thomas advises and I could see why he would be reacting this way.
"But there is one more thing that is concerning me, before I was placed into the Maze I had a chip inserted into the back of my neck next thing I know is I am waking up in a metal box with no memory of anything or anyone. Heck I didn't even remember my own name." Thomas advises as he turns to show us the scar on his neck from where the chip had been.
"Mystery I was working on the same wave length as you when I saw that chip but when we were with Stile waiting for the extraction team he kept repeating Lydia's name so I brushed that aside." Mitch advises and I hadn't even heard him return back to the room.
"True but I in some way recognised Teresa when she first arrived, I had dreams about her but never heard her name. It could be Stiles had a dream about Lydia which is why he knows her name. Where is Mischief anyway?" Thomas asks Mitch using their code names, wondering why they are using them and not their actual names.
"On the way to the Morgue again, don't worry he is alive. It's the easiest place to hold him until he wakes up and we can limit who has access to him. We assume that Janson would follow the Chip so we have planted it inside a teddy bear placing it in a room on the second floor as a trap." Mitch advises quickly as he have seen the panic on our faces when he said Morgue.
"Sheriff, Scott, Thomas and Lydia you are going to head down to the Morgue with me while Parrish, Chris, Rafael, Irene and Stan remain here to keep watch and report anything happening. Scott don't worry your Mum and Dr Geyer are going to meet us in the Morgue once they have helped to clear the hospital." Mitch advises and I follow him out of the room with everyone else.
As the lift dings open at the Morgue floor I sense straightaway that something is not right, before I can voice anything the door to the Morgue crashes open with a body flying through it. I step forward and notice the person lying on the floor is Derek before Peter comes crashing through the same doors and landing next to him.
