Mitch POV

So they actually did it, they decided to execute the plan to restart the trails and decided Stiles was the best person to do it with. Oh I am going rip there heads off for what they have done to him, Thomas and everyone else. I haven't felt this way since Katrina was murdered in the Terrorist attack, come on Mitch level your head out and focus.

"Alright so what now, we know where he is so lets go get him." Derek states and I along with some of the others just shake our head at him.

"We can't do that, if we go in there unprepared with all guns blazing we are just going end up either getting ourselves or Stiles killed. Stiles said to Scott to return to the start, for each of us that is different so we need to follow what he says." I advise knowing there must be a plan behind the madness of Stiles's message.

"Alright so we need to split up so we can get this done quicker, so me, Lydia and Derek to the High School, Mitch do you want to accompany Sheriff to his home, Melissa and Parrish to the Hospital. Thomas and Teresa you can go with Scott to locate the Nematon, we will all meet back here within the hour." Rafael advises grabbing his jacket off the nearby chair as the respective groups get to together and head off to their locations.

I head over to the Sheriff, who has stopped looking at the screen since he showed us all what was on there. I placed my hand on his arm and guided him away from there, I know him seeing me and Thomas right now will be hard but we are going to get Stiles back.

"Come on Sheriff, let's get to your house. The sooner we locate whatever has been left there, the sooner we can get Stiles back home and then we can grounded him until he is at least seventy." I advise trying to lighten the mood slightly and it seems to work as a faint chuckle is heard before he looks at me.

"Thanks Mitch! I don't know how you handle all of this drama constantly but I am grateful you are here." Sheriff advises clasping my arm before heading out of the loft with me, we get into his cruiser and head towards his home.

As he pulls into the drive I am amazed at how accurate Stiles's description of the house was, even down to the weird shaped plant pot next to the front porch. I notice the engine has stopped but Sheriff made no move to leave.

"Are you okay?" I ask him as I can see the worry over his face and tears glistening in his eyes as he sits staring at the house.

"Just bringing back some memories from a few years ago, did he ever tell you about the time he was taken by the Ghost Riders?" Sheriff asks me and I nod my head instantly as Stiles had told me about after I found him having a nightmare one night.

"Well this is where I remembered him, inside his bedroom. It was a boarded up empty room at first then Lydia showed me what I was missing, from there I managed to bring back everything and my memories of him. It just feels like it is happening all over again but this time he has forgotten all of us." Sheriff advises and I can now understand why he is reluctant to exit the cruiser.

"Just like when it happened to you, deep down Stiles will remember who we are. If not we can just smack it back into him. So how about I search the outer parts of the house first and meet you upstairs." I advise receiving another chuckle comes from the Sheriff before he opens the door and exits the cruiser.

As he heads into the house I start looking like I am searching around the outside, I know he needed some time alone to process everything. I sometimes have to remember the time before I met Stan and realise not everyone can just switch of their emotions and not let it get personal.

After a few minutes I head inside directly to the first floor, I notice the only door open is the one just off the stairway. As I step into the doorway I notice the Sheriff stood their looking slightly overwhelmed and a little lost.

"I didn't find anything outside. Wow, is this what it is like been inside Stiles's head?" I state making my presence known breaking him out of his train of thoughts.

"I would guess so but you would have to ask either Scott or Lydia for that answer, they have been in there. Come on lets try and shuffle through some of these, I don't know exactly what I am looking for but hoping it may jump out at me." Sheriff suggests before heading over to the crime board area while I move towards the bed area.

I search through the various pictures on the wall, I love the mixture of band posters and crime scene photos. Funny enough it kinda reminded me of the back of my wardrobe door from a few years a go. I start to search instead under his mattress and then in his bedside table but don't find anything out of the ordinary.

"Find anything?" I ask hoping the Sheriff has had more luck then I am currently having as I start to wonder where to search next.

"I don't know, maybe. Chess has always been Stiles's game ever since he was younger, his Mum had taught him and they kept playing even once she was in Hospital. So on this note here is the words 'Fools Mate'." Sheriff advises grabbing the paper off the wall before walking over to the desk where the chess board is currently lay out and starts moving the pieces.

As he moves one the pieces into the alignment a clicking sound is heard as the square lifts up, I gently lift it higher to reveal a rolled piece of paper inside along with a mini USB stick.

"Now that is a good hiding place! What does the piece of paper say?" Sheriff asks as I remove the items from inside and gently unroll it.

"It's just numbers which look like longitude and latitude 38.8026° N, 116.4194° W, hopefully when we get back this may point to his current location or WCKD's base. Come on lets head back." I advise rolling the paper back up and placing them both in my pocket for safety.
