"All I Need Is To See Your Face"

"Alex?"

Alex stood in front of me smiling. His face is no longer pale, his eyes are shining again, his lips smiling, his body is as muscular as ever. His eyes are looking at me full of love, even he's full of joy like when he was in college.

Alex pulled my hand, the two of us ran in a flower garden that is so beautiful. I continued to be confused, because he was sick but seeing his condition was enough to convince me he was fine.

He picked a rose on me, "Look at these flowers, they are blooming and beautiful like you, Laura. Keep on living like this flower even though the weather keeps changing but this flower continues to survive. You are strong like this flower."

I took the flower, happily continued to look at it.

"Let's go over there." Alex took my hand. I saw all my college friends gathered. I was back at the reunion party.

Alex stepped onto the stage, announcing me as his girlfriend enough to make me blush. He also asked me to dance together. We spent our time having fun. I laugh, I feel so good.

Alex continued to hold my hand without letting go at all. Mia, Diksi, and Rio also joined in the fun.

After that, Alex asked me to go again. I don't know how it happened, suddenly we are in the office.

"Laura, if later I can't accompany you here. I beg you to come here, go to my room and open a letter that I have put there." He pointed to a locked desk drawer.

"Can I just open it now?" He shook his head softly.

"You have to be patient, because now is not the time."

"Fine." I said annoyingly, making him laughed so hard. "I love you, Alex." He just smiled without even answered me.

He invited me again to a mansion, I think that's where he lives. However, all of them were decorated with various decorations, as well as filled with people wearing dresses and formal suits.

"Alex, what is this?" I said, confused seeing the clothes I was wearing turned into a dark blue dress.

"Will you marry me, Laura Clay?"

I froze.

"I've loved you a long time ago, since you never even looked at me. I love you, Laura." He handed me his ring, made me immediately give my finger. Everyone clap. My heart feels so happy. Then, we all party, but someone kept looking my way.

Alex seemed to realize, he glared at the person who kept watching me. Dean.

He was so far away from me, his eyes are swollen, he seemed hurt and needed me so much. I wanted to go there but, Alex held me down.

The two of them glared at each other.

So, I took Alex's hand and brought him to a quiet place.

He was clenching his jaws.

I held his face, "I'm not going anywhere."

Alex's eyes were far away, "You're not going anywhere Laura, but what if I'm the one going?"

I was a little disappointed, "Just because you are jealous, you want to leave me?" I got up and walked away from him. Alex kept chasing me, "Laura listen to me." I kept walking as if I didn't care.

"Laura, listen to my explanation first."

Wait a minute, it's like we've been in this position, but I forgot when.

"What's Alex?" I said looking up to see his face.

"I'm sorry." He said with regret.

The scene changed to the day I was wearing a wedding dress.

The dress was so beautiful makes all eyes could see how expensive it was. Alex was handsome in his suit. Rio and Diksi also laughed. Mia and Benard celebrate it.

I laughed, watching everyone have fun. Our parents also celebrate it. Agnes happily danced with her friends who were also present.

I approached Alex but suddenly Alex seized near me made me panic. Everything seems to be slowly disappearing. Alex's face turned pale again. His voice disappeared slowly all made me scream in fear.

I kept screaming, but no one was there anymore. What I saw, Dean ran to me and immediately helped me.

Alex was immediately taken to the hospital. Dean hugged me while whispering that it's all gonna be okay.

I trust him more than I trust myself.

I never knew Alex's condition again, the days I spent with Dean. One day I went to my office to find out the contents of the letter that Alex put in his drawer.

I was shocked that my father was there, and even sent me to the hospital. I obeyed and went there. I ran to the room where Alex was treated. When I got there I saw everyone crying, I saw Alex was covered in a white cloth. Slowly I opened it, and I screamed with all my might unable to see what was in front of me.

I kept screaming until I woke up and I saw Alex was having a convulsion. I screamed for help, but no one heard. I went out to call the doctor. Alex's mom, Rio, and Agnes just woke up. Dean came right I need his help. We all panicked. The doctor immediately treated Alex and told us to wait outside.

I was trembling in fear the dream was real. Dean still by my side. I also noticed that his eye bags were getting blackened. He must have had a hard day.

Everyone continued to pray. We all bursted into tears unstoppable. I didn't know what else to do, my heart felt sincere no matter what.

I didn't say anything. Everyone was contacted and came immediately. My father could only be by my side I really thank him. If he never tried to tell me, maybe I would always be in regret.

Dean kept supporting me, tried to make me smile, also bought us foods and drinks. I saw my father pay attention to Dean in great detail. But, from his gaze I could tell my father liked Dean's behavior.
