Peter stark is almost seventeen years old.
It's the beginning of the summer and his father and he, have'd started a new life.
About some weeks ago they moved into a new house in another part of the town.
Around the same time when his papa suddenly decided to leave them behind and not being a part of their life.
And Peter doesn't know why.
Steve's betrayal is still pounding painfully in his heart.
Except the fact Peter and Tony share same interests in science, was Peter closer with Steve.
Steve was the parent Peter went to when he needed support and comfort.
Every time when he have'd a nightmare as child, it was Steve's arms he crawled into to get comfort.

Peter walks into the living room there Tony already is drinking alcohol even though it's only afternoon.
He clears his throat to get Tony's attention from the armchair there Tony leans against the armrest with his legs over the other armrest.
"Oh...Hi Peter...Something wrong?" He asks and shifts in the armchair there he sits with his feet properly on the floor.
Tony leans forward with a sigh.
Peter is eyeing his father who seems much older than just a few weeks ago.
About ten years older.
His break up with Steve must have been awful.
"Father... Why aren't papa here with us?..." Peter asks curiously and inhales deeply.
Tony looks asking up at him before he glances at his glass with whiskey.
"Well... Steve got tired of mine alcohol problems and dumped me..." he shrugs and drinks up his whiskey he have'd poured.
Peter raises an eyebrow.
Okay, it isn't illogical that; Steve would dump Tony because of his drinking problem.
Peter has heard their angry whispering; about Tony's alcohol problems.
Whispering they didn't thought their son would hear. But could hear without any problem.
Peter crosses his arms.
"Okay...But why am I not seeing my papa then? You know I have rights to meet my other parent if I want..." Peter tells him and feels how tears start threatening to fall from his green brownish eyes.
He is afraid of hearing the truth; if it's Tony who is keeping him from Steve as punishment or if it's Steve who... Who doesn't want to see his son again since Peter would remind him of Tony.
Peter and Tony have same features like their hazelnut brown hair and body type.
They are really looking like father and son.

Tony stiffen of his question.
Peter starts breathing faster since his father is reacting of that simple question.
"I-..." Tony starts saying with shaky voice and looks away as he tries figure out what to say. Or tries pretending Peter isn't there.
"Well?" Peter tilts his head asking.
Tony snorts and looks frustrated at Peter.
"Okay... Steve is helping an old friend from his old life, to run away from the cops... That's why he isn't here..." Tony mutters as answer.
Peter exhales gasping.
"Oh.. Does that means... Papa is a criminal in others eyes?"
"Yes Peter..." Tony sighs.
Peter swallows hardly.
"Father?..."
"Yes Peter?"
"Where is my spider-man suit?"
Tony stiffen.
At first Tony is looking pale as bad flashbacks are passing his mind. Then anger starts appearing on his face.
Peter looks confused at his father.
Suddenly Tony stands angrily up from the armchair.
Peter got startled and takes a step backward.
"YOU AREN'T ALLOWED TO PUT ON THAT SUIT ANYMORE...DO YOU HEAR ME?!" Tony yells.
Peter wides his eyes shocked of his father's random behavior.
"Wh-..."
"LEAVE ME ALONE NOW...GO UP TO YOUR ROOM BEFORE I LOSE MY TEMPER..." Tony adds and points his arm against the direction there the  stairs are.
Peter's eyes are watering there tears are falling from the feeling of being treated unfairly.
"I-....I HATE YOU..." Peter screams back and turns around there he runs up to his bedroom with tears still running on his upset face.

Peter slams the door behind him when he got into his new bedroom.
"I hate them all..." he mumbles and throws himself onto the bed and cries with his face down on his pillow.
Except the fight between his parents about Tony's drinking, has Peter's life been wonderful.
He was spoiled of love and material things. And have'd his parents fully support of being Spider-Man.
But lately hasn't he got any of that.
Steve disappeared without a single word. And Tony is being a bit cold when Peter tries approaching him.
But at the same time, is Tony acting too overprotective when it comes to Peter's safety.
Peter doesn't understand why Tony suddenly isn't alright with him being Spider-Man.
Spider-Man is a part of his life.
Who is he without Spider-Man?
The geek who gets bullied at school at the same time while people try using him for his money?

Tony sighs and pours more alcohol into his glass.
He really hates all the lies he keeps telling Peter.
But he is afraid of telling Peter the truth.
He is afraid Peter will shatters the moment the truth gets revealed.
And he doesn't want to lose Peter too.
Tony sighs deeply and takes big sips of his whiskey.
Sometimes he asks himself. If he really made the right decision back then. Or he should had let the life keeps proceeding as the fate wanted.
He can't help his anger and sorrow bubbling up inside when he sees Peter.
How Peter reminds him of the worse days of his life...
