Private Sessions

Jason Mills POV

"Juliana Wells." Says a metallic voice. I watch as my district partner nervously walks into the training hall for her private session. The only ones left in the room are me and the twins from 12. They are both huddled in the corner of the room.

I think I'm going to show them my skills with starting a fire. But I pretty sure I will get a low score for that. Making a fire is pretty much the most useless skill to have unless you are in a winter arena and you may die if you don't start a fire. So I have no idea what to do.

Wait! I remember when I was 4 me and my parents were walking on the outskirts of the district and we saw these peacekeepers making thing bomb. It was just made out of sticks and leaves. Then all you needed was to put a little bit of poison in to make it deadly.

"Jason Mills." Says a voice

I walk into the training hall and most of the people are just staring at all the food they have. Ugh whatever I'll just start building my bomb. I don't even think they know I'm here. I walk over to the shelter building part and grab a bunch of sticks and leaves. I think go to the fishing station and grab some string. Then I walk over to the poison station and take a vial of poison. I start rolling the leaves and sticks into a ball. Once it's nicely compacted I tie it up with the string. I look at the clock and see I have 30 seconds left. I quickly make a little hole in the ball and pour some poison in. I cover it up. I look up and see that they aren't even paying attention anymore.

"HEY!" I shout. All eyes turns to stare at me. I throw the bomb into the corner of the room. When hits the wall it explodes with purple vapour.

"Excellent. How did you make that contraption? We could use it here at the Capitol as a weapon." Says the head game maker

"I'm not telling. If you wanted to know you should have paid attention while I was making it." I say and walk out. For that I'm sure they will give me low score.
