Family Games: Day 3

Kylie Jingles POV

"Wake up tributes! I have an announcement to make!" Shout a voice throughout the arena.

I grunt and crawl out of my sleeping bag in the cornucopia. Marco is still snoring. I wake over to him and kick him.

He jolts awake.

"What the hell Kylie!" He shouts

"Shut up, there's an announcement being made." I say

"Tributes! To make things more fun and possibly get some more bloodshed, the pathways leading to reach area will be destroyed. So therefore you will be trapped in your area until we decide it's time to repair the bridges! Good luck tributes!"

Shoot.

"Marco if we are going tribute hunting, we need to choose an area that we are going to hunt in." I say

"Why don't we let them come to us." Says Marco with a smirk

"What?" I ask

"Look." He says

I turn around and see the Capitol hovercrafts dropping hundreds of mutts into each area. Already tributes are beginning to sprint towards the cornucopia

I smirk as well.

"Get ready for some bloodshed!" Shouts Marco

Dove, Silvia and Sirvia are running to the cornucopia from the winter area. Allyn and Xavier are running from the forrest area. Cove is running from the beach area. Glade and the lovers from 11 are running from the dessert area. Nobody is running from the mountain area. So that means Allison, Venessa, Mouse, Thalia, Paisley and Asha are going to be trapped in there area.

I grip my throwing knives and Marco raises his sword.

He turns to attack Allyn and Xaiver, while I go to attack the three running from the winter area. Dove is running behind the two sister from 7. Sirvia loads an arrow into her bow and aims towards me. She fires the arrow but I deflect it with one of my knives. Silvia takes the opportunity and throws her axe it my direction. It hurdles towards me but Marco shoves me out of the way. The axe lodges into his chest and his eyes bulge.

He falls to the ground gasping for air.

"Marco!" I shout

"Win this for me Kylie." He trails off

BOOM

"No!" I scream and look at the two girls from 7.

"You killed someone I loved, so I'm going to kill someone you love!" I scream at Silvia

I throw my knife in Sirvia's direction. The knife sticks into her chest and the 12 year old screams in pain.

"Sirvia!" Screams Silvia

BOOM

I run on the bridge towards Silvia. Once I get to her I kick Sirvia's body into the black gooey liquid below. I continue to run past her and I run into Dove. I forgot she was here. I continue running past her. I run all the way across the bridge and into the snow area.

I'm never going to see Marco again.

Then the bridges detach from the land and fall into the gooey black tar. The cornucopia is packed with people. Surly there will be bloodshed.

I hear a loud growl in the distance.

Shoot. I forgot about the mutts.
