Kimberly Todd (D8) POV

"Luca!" Screams Nyx.

"Nyx!" Yells Luca

The both collide and hug one another in the middle of the training hall. All of the past victors are allowed to come here and train whenever they please before the games. But right now the only tribute here is Nyx. All of the rest of the 15 year olds scatter throughout the training hall but I stay and watch these two siblings unite. The two begin to walk over to me.

"Who is this?" Asks Nyx

"I'm Kimberly." I say

"We're aligning." Says Luca

"Ahh. I see my little brother has a crush." Says Nyx

"No! We're just aligning because we are district partners." Says Luca defensively

Nyx just smirks.

I will admit, Luca is pretty handsome for a 15 year old. I remember the reaping when the escort made us shake hands. His hands were so rough and strong. Then for a brief moment we started into each other's eyes and well... I think I fell in love. But I don't think Luca feels the same way.

"So how is Sabrina doing?" Asks Nyx

"She's still sad that your gone." Says Luca

Nyx seems upset. "I've got to get back to training." She mumbles and walks away

"Who's Sabrina?" I ask

"My sisters girlfriend." He says

"Oh." I say

"This must be hard for her." I say "having her girlfriend and her brother in the games."

"Yeah. I'm just bummed that only one of us can win." He says

"Then let's make a pact. We stick together until we win the 15 year old games. Then we can align with your sister in the final games. Us three till the end. Maybe if we get the Capitol to like us, all three of us can escape." I say

"Sounds like a plan." Says Luca

A loud scream erupts throughout the training hall. I see Lena Stafford about to stab herself with a dagger. Her brother died, so I understand why she's doing this. Peacekeepers rush in and take her out of the building before she can stab herself.

Calypso Frost's (D4) POV

"She can't stay with us guys." I say

"I know, Lena is going crazy." Says Cadi

"Ya but we did already tell her we would be allies with her." Says Dixie

"We can't just leave her." She continues

"Dixie, she's just going to slow us down." I say

"Caly is right. She wouldn't help us." Says Cadi

"Please guys, she's not crazy, we can help her." Dixie whines

"No. She will slow us down." I say again

"Fine then. I won't be your ally. Me and Lena will align leaving you two selfish brats."

Dixie storms off leaving us speechless.

"We didn't need her or Lena." Says Cadi and turns away.
