The games (day 3)

Mason Reeves POV

"Wakey wakes tributes!" Calls out the voice. "I have some news for you! On the east side of the arena, a fire has started and is spreading rapidly. On the west side of the arena a other fire has started. The only safe place is the cornucopia!"

Just the announcement finishes I see a huge wall of fire pushing towards me. I immediately pick up the only weapon I could find, a sword. I leave my survival stuff and my food behind. I won't be needing it any more. Today is the last day and I hope to be leaving here.

I sprint in the direction of the cornucopia. I wish I wouldn't have traveled so far back into the arena. Yesterday I walked for at least an hour head to the outer ring of the arena. Which means this going to be a 20-30 minute run. I sprint as fast as my legs will go.

My body must being going into survival mode because the run takes me only 10 minutes. When I arrive at the cornucopia nobody else is there, but I realize that the cornucopia is no longer in the air. It's on the ground. Inside the cornucopia sits a girl sharpening a dagger. I think her name is Blossom. I walk around to the back of the cornucopia and sit on the top. There is a huge dent in the top. I have no idea how that happened.

After a few minutes the two careers Ava and Magnus appear. Near the edge of the clearing I see Bailey silently waiting for the battle to begin. Ava and Magnus start to head where the cornucopia is when Hope and Hazel pop out of nowhere. Magnus and Ava attack Hope and Hazel. Blossom then runs out of the cornucopia and Bailey runs out of the bushes. The both go to attack the careers from behind. Clarence, Roo, Belle and Avery all jump out from the bushes to join the huge brawl. While I get the best seats at the top of the cornucopia.

Right now all the trees surrounding the cornucopia are on fire. If anyone were to go anywhere near, it's was basically a death wish.

BOOM

A cannon echoes throughout the arena. Everyone is fighting in one small area I can't see who died. The crowed of fighting people moves slightly to the left and I see Magnus's body laying with a dagger in his skull.

Avery Maya's POV

I gasp as knife is plunged into my stomach. I drop to the ground and watch as people fight above me. I don't know who stabbed me. But I know that I'm dying. I gasp and a girl looks at me. I point to the top of the cornucopia where a person is watching everything that's happening. The smiles and laughs before running off to the cornucopia. Good bye world, I think and everything goes black.

Ava Burns POV

Stupid little girl. First I stab the little Avery girl, then she tells me where someones been hiding. Why would she do that? Is she stupid? Does she not know I stabbed her? Well anyways I run over to a boy that's been sitting on top of the cornucopia. I climb up behind him and grab his throat. He waves his arms frantically. I laugh as his face turns purple and then passes out. I drag his body over to the burning forest before I shove him into the flames.

BOOM

4 more deaths and I can leave this place knowing I killed the most people. I look back to what was once a crowed of fighting people. Now their all split up into little match ups. I think it's my turn to sit and watch it all play out.

Bailey attacks Clarence, Belle attacks Blossom and Roo attacks Hope and Hazel.

Roo is quickly stabbed by Hope. She was no match for Hope and Hazel. But in Roo's last efforts she throws a knife at Hope but Hazel jumps in the way and it loges into her skull.

BOOM

BOOM

Two deaths left.

Blossom slashes Belle with her dagger. Belle doesn't have any weapons and is blocking the blows with her hands. Her hands drip with blood. Blossom slashes one last time and it cuts open Belle's stomach. She drops to the ground and Blossom kicks Belle in the stomach.

BOOM

Bailey then punches Clarence in the head, he falls to the ground and smashes his skull on the ground.

BOOM

Baileys body falls to the ground with Blossoms dagger in her back. Clarence rises up looks at Blossom in shock.

"I thought you hated me." He says

"I do, I'm saving you for the finals." She says

"Congratulations Ava Burns, Hope Johnson, Clarence Wolfe and Blossom Rains!"
