Luigi closed his eyes. This was difficult to bear.
"...You want out, correct?"
Luigi's eyes flew open. What was that?
He sat up, looking around. Nobody there. Luigi grumbled to himself. Of course nobody's there.
He laid back down. Honestly, he wished whatever offered him freedom was real.
Disappointed, he rested.
Eyes formed in his mind's vision. They stared down at him.
"There is no escape."
A voice spoke to him.
"However, you can have relief from hell, nonetheless."
He was definitely listening...
"... Give in."
Luigi was... not sure about this. What would happen to him if he let this take over him?
He wasn't sure, and especially wasn't sure if he wanted to find out.
It was tempting, though. It hadn't even been a week and this broke him. Maybe he'd be better off.
He still contemplated. He remembered the update that said he'd be able to see his brother again if he 'gave in' to the Chaos Heart.
He was still hesitant, though.
After continuing to give it thought, Luigi had decided.
He'll give in.
He took a deep breath. He could see the eyes, and how they seemed pleased with his decision.
He woke up slowly. He stood up, looking up towards the guest room.
He shook his head and headed to the kitchen. He held a hand over the knife block.
Wait, what was he doing, and why was he doing this?
He still mindlessly grabbed a knife. He frowned, and wandered about the house, as if trying to figure out a plan. What for, he didn't know.
Luigi grabbed chlorine bleach and rubbing alcohol. He poured the chemicals into a water bottle, closing it and shaking the bottle to mix them.
He took a kitchen towel and headed for the door...
...and it opened.
Luigi was confused. He wasn't acting on his own accord.
He shut the door behind him and slipped away. He stalked the woods, glaring lifelessly into the dark.
Someone was there.
He approached them carefully. As he drew near, he recognized them but wasn't sure where. The person he approached adjusted their headlamp.
Luigi paused, and the other person unwittingly drew closer.
He poured some of the chemical combination he had made into the towel, carefully closing it. He grabbed the young toad, putting the towel over their face.
They struggled, crying for help.
It didn't didn't last long, and they became unconscious.
